The Kobold Transmuter scurried among the corridors of the dungeon, evading the mass of slimes that he had attracted the attention of. His lungs spasmed painfully with each ragged breath he drew, the pain of his exertion catching up with him and taking its toll.

But what was this? Before him loomed another stairwell that would lead him deeper into this horrifying abysmal dungeon that he had wandered into. But it was no doubt better than the death that waited him should be let himself become cornered in this room and thus he plunged in head on, taking whatever potential death that awaited before him than the inevitable one that was closing on his rear.

"Oh my...." Sigmund groaned deep in the back of his throat, "I've not seen anything this magestic in all of my years..."

This sort of reminds me of this fantasy I had where I was this 13 year old orphan girl from burma who lived with her horrible grandfather who used to rape her, but also taught her how tracking and marksmanship (this was when enemy at the gates was just out) until she killed him and got sent to this orphan camp for half-breed children (Did I mention everyone hated her for being a half-breed?). Then after playing the artful dodger for a while (but like totally more badass) war breaks out and she's taken to a prostitution camp where a the camp commander make her his sex slave and executioner. After a while the camp is overrun by freedom fighters and she kills the commander in the confusion. After she is recuited into an elite, all-girl jungle unit who are really badass and get into plenty of situations where they're able to prove to people how badass they are. THEN she and her unit are promoted into a special program that transforms them into cyborgs (yep gunslinger girl), then they go around being badasses again. Then after the war everyone else dies and she moves to America and becomes a rock star until she gets into an onstage fight with 50 cent, loses control because of the rage drugs they put into her body in burma and kills 20 or so people. Then her horrible (emo) past is discovered and everyone feels sorry for her.

Beat that.

Childhood Years:

Oniko grew up in a fairly small village with her mother. Her father was almost never around but when he was he was very caring and loving towards his human mistress and daughter. Till she was about 10 years old Oniko lived a carefree life with only the occasional bullying and taunting from the other villagers for her demon traits. However their home was mostly on the edge of town so people tended to stay away. One day some little kids kept picking on Oniko, calling names, throwing rocks, hurting her, and she lost control of a power surge building up inside her. Her mother and father had never taught her about her demonic traits so she was unaware of how to control her powers. As a result she destroyed most of the village in one blast, including her parents.


In the mist of the chaos Oniko came to and several cloaked men grabbed her and took her away into the underworld. They only called themselves the Demon Council and kept her locked away in a dark cell. The Council treated her like dirty because she was a half demon and they were trying to preserve a pure race of demons. However they thought Oniko to be the last carrier of her blood line and thus they needed her despite her impure blood. They tried to force her into helping them with their crazy plans for Oniko could only keep yelling “No more death!” in sobs. Because She would not help them, they decided to punish her and sealed about part of her soul, literally splitting it in half. Afterwards they released her with most of her demon powers sealed. But they left their mark, the curse of the Demon Council on her lower tummy to keep the demon half of her sealed.

Oniko could still use some demonic power but very little, the rest continued to build inside her and if she didn’t release it periodically she would probably lose control again. On her travels she ran into a powerful Demon Lord, his name was Tenma. He made a bet that he could beat her in battle and Oniko being very stubborn at that age accepted. She lost miserably and became his slave. On the first night as his servant he branded her with his mark so all the world would know she was a slave.


But Oniko hated being his slave. Though he never hurt her besides when she probably desired punishment she rather be free again. Oniko ran away from him many times only to be captured, but finally one night she got away. As time passed she met Leoric, saving him from falling down a hill. He was one of the first in a long time to treat her kindly and accept her fault. It wasn’t long before Oniko fell in love.

Leoric and Oniko’s relationship continued with a few hardships along the way. There were times when Oniko lost control of her demonic powers and the Demon Council would find her, or worse Tenma. Though the threat of Tenma would never go away Oniko burned the mark he placed on her off her lower back, the scar is till there. Then a new threat appeared, Oniko’s half-brother Ash. She had no memories of him because he only visited her once when she was a baby. It turns out that Ash being the last full-blooded demon of their race and Oniko being the only other female made him obsessed with her. Oniko had to be his so one night he raped her thinking she would fall in love with him. However Oniko couldn’t love him and he disappeared one day in defeat.

Demonic Side:

Because Oniko’s soul was split for so long, it grew to have its on consciousness yet could never be completely severed from Oniko. The voice of her demon side often pops into her head. If Oniko were to lose control of her demonic powers she transfers it’s a 10-year-old child, the same age as when her soul was split. Though Oniko is more in control of the body, her demonic side rules over her power and isn’t afraid to use it. She is much more blunt and rude then Oniko but she also seemed to have a few of the same soft spots Oniko has for certain people. The only person that could change Oniko back instead of just waiting for her power to die down is Leoric; the exact reason for this is still unknown.

I've been thinking about this.

I think it comes from something I just now decided to call "coolness creep."
Essentially it's what happens when the constructed reality of the anime and fantasy that they watch/read/whatever begins to supersede the logical reality that is intuitive to most people who aren't indoctrinated into this subculture. Without the normal strictures of feasibility to restrain them, the kids will make their characters "cooler" and "cooler" just to keep up with their friends/the subculture as a whole.
Now since the fantasies of these kids have been separated from what is intuitively cool, they instead operate off of a series of symbols and traits that are used in anime and fantasy (and eventually products of their own subculture, similar to -chan memes,) to represent coolness. However, because these traits are used without the context of intuitive coolness, they get overused and stacked ontop of eachother until they get so improbable they're unrecognizable to outsiders.
So basically because they can't recognize coolness itself, they just make their characters "cool" by attaching all sorts of nifty doodads.

Let's face it, gents, cat ears without all the cultural context surrounding them are kind of cool. They've just been worn down to the point where there's nothing unique or cute about them anymore.

Abilities:

Time Space Manipulation
As many have fallen victim to due to his appearance, Schrodinger's power is space and time based. He doesn't need to throw magical flames about or possess titan like strength in order to beat his opponents. He merely separates them from the space they are in, causing them to appear within different areas, or cease attacks coming towards him by deleting the space they are in, causing them to completely cease to be.

Along with this, he can connect two spaces together walk walking through them, basically teleporting about as he sees fit. In conjunction, and his ability to break through dimensional barriers and defy natural forces can baffle even the most advanced science.

How he attacks with this is also effortless to him, merely tossing portions of space aside as high speeds to shred whatever was in that portion of reality at the time, be it tangible or intangible. [Such as holograms and ghosts]

Reflexes
Given that Schroedinger is still a feline, his reflexes, hearing, and sense or smell are exceptional. Even more so than what most would expect of a cat creature with his appearance. His strength however leaves much to be desired, not entirely physically strong fort a feline. However, when one can manipulate reality in itself, he hasn't much need for muscles or physical power. [Though he is not weak. Merely 'not strong.']

Claws
In the event he does have to rely on melee combat, his nails constantly give off a malicious poison, that causes instant paralysis. He can, however control the output of this [As he has a tendency of scratching various people and doesn't' do so with the intent of paralyzing them]

Dragon: Krepta chose the dragon in tribute to her dragon ancestry, but also for it's adaptability. Dragons can survive in almost any environment. They love the heat, so dry or fiery places are no problem, and when in extremely cold places they can raise their body temperature to keep themselves dry and warm, though if it gets too cold, around -89, their fires can be put out and they will freeze to death. Even in the dark depths of the oceans, a dragon can survive, though it can't breath under water, it can hold it's breath for long periods of time, and the dragon's bullet proof scales and sturdy body protects it from the crushing pressure while going deep, and since dragons are both nocturnal and diurnal creatures, they have little trouble seeing in the dark, though they can't see in complete darkness. Dragons also have many weapon choices available to them, along with the tearing claws and teeth and bone breaking tail, it is a well known fact that they can breath fire. Unfortunately, this fire can rise to extremely high temperatures, and Krepta doesn't have full control over it yet; so it's useless for cooking. As mentioned before, her scales are used as a natural armor, and while bullet proof, strong, or well aimed attacks can still harm her. She also has some small healing powers, but can only heal others, and minor wounds, such as sprains.

THE ORIGIN OF MAGIC

Long ago Magic was more raw and potent then is it today. The once grate civilizations of the creator races were based on endless experimentation with these energies, and during their long rules they created many forms of life. The cruel and the decadent creator race chose to release their monstrous mistakes rather then destroy them. Most died in the jungles, yet many lived and - as thought awakened in them - they hid from their creators. When the end came at last, it was they -not the old races- who seized control of the land.

Raging. So. God. Damned. Hard.

Her dragon form isn't completely invulnerable, to certain things like poison and gasses can still affect her, though if she is quick enough she can burn most of it off by super heating her body, as said before though, she doesn't have full control over it yet, and it takes a lot of concentration. Electricity is also still harmful, and she can still drown, but her main weakness is psychic attacks, due either a glitch in her powers or something in the dragon's ancestry, no one is quite sure. Even speaking through telepathy causes her discomfort, and causes a feeling close to claustrophobia. Her dragon form is about the size of a car, and as long as a school bus from nose to tail. Her scales are a bright red, and her wings are slightly darker, almost a wine color, her horns are dark red in color and covered with an almost fur like substance.

Wolf: Krepta's wolf form is an average Grey wolf, but a little larger, it was chosen because her favorite animal is the wolf, and it's good for battle and travel. She uses the wolf mostly for rescue missions, as people would rather follow and animal that resembled a lovable dog than a dragon, and it can defend itself better than a cat.

Cat: Krepta chose the cat because, of it's balance and ability to move through small spaces, it can also be silent and is good for acts of stealth. And while small, it's not totally helpless. Krepta's cat form is a small, black cat with a patch of white on it's forehead.

Weaknesses: Telepathic attacks of any kind are easily capable of killing her. She is vulnerable to telepathy, and even speaking though a telepathic link causes her discomfort, a feeling similar to mild claustrophobia, unless, like Sol, the said telepath is used to her mind. Well aimed, or powerful attacks can still hurt her, she can still drown if held under long enough, electric attacks can still hurt her, as well as things like gasses. In any other form other than dragon, she's still just as vulnerable as a human, not to mention the added weakness to psychics.
