    >Harbinger: A strange ant indeed. Within their body lies a dormant creature which will consume the ant after a specific trigger event.     >Fanatic is a Superstrain, and will conflict with Infernic ant superstrain numbers.     The infernic diggers have found no additional root locations.
    Total: 20 wiry root locations.
    The horizontal tunnel system at the topsoil level has reached about 1 hour's travel to the end of the tunnels and back to the main depth tunnel. They haven't been finding much recently.
    The massive cluster does not appear to have an opening and it has unknown interior geometry. 20 larvae are being cared for next to this massive deposit.
    No ore strands of organic strands have been found to the south. Twenty clusters have been located.
    Scouting tunnels have enountered a new root! These are an hour's travel from the hive to the west, and an hour's travel back. These roots are thick, and solitary. They seem to extend very deep into the soil. The roots also appear to be covered in a black-grey slimy substance.

    Scout report: It seems that the wasps and spiders are at war. Most of them are larger than the hive's ants, with exception of the silverspider. The Silverspider has approached one of the scouts and tried to warn him off -- indicating danger within these lands.
    The wasps appear to be focusing on the strange flat bodied spider.
    The white wasp has tried to attack all of the scouts -- they are wary of the wasps, and distrust them, only their ability to warp-burrow has saved them, as the wasps appear to be reluctant to go underground.
    One of the scouts has noticed that a scorpion has many babies with it, which appear to have no significant chitin.
    The scouts have been unable to approach any of the scorpions, as they appear to be under guard by the spiders.

    Worm negotiator report:
    The worms appear to show no sign of intelligence beyond pack-like behavior. It seems they look after eachother only out of instinct. After the worm was slain, the other earthworms stopped attacking our troops.

    Aphid negotiator report: The aphids appear to fear our glorious new ants, even more than they did before. It seems the splendorous ants have them fearing to the point where they have lost most of their will to fight -- they do not seem cooperative yet though. Progress in replicating their pheromone patterns for proper communication is slow, but progressing. The splendorous ants have managed to produce a pheromone similar to the aphid's which they believe will convey the idea of regret.

    Could we create a largish (big enouph for the scorpians to fit) Warp Burrow hole under the scorpians (or near the scorpians dont want them to think its a trap) so they can have a safe underground exit from the battle ground (will also give us a way to circumvent the spiders trying to keep us away).

    I think this is the best way to atempt to help the scorpians, and helping them is the best way to open negotiations with the spiders.

    Alright send the 10 splendor infernic diggers that are expanding our food stores to dig an escape hatch for the babies, and 5 splendor workers that are offering non-leaf food to the aphids to try and convince the scorpions we mean no harm and the tunnel will be safe for the babies, so the diggers can focus on digging. You said that 75 warriors II have just MM, have they been assigned? If not send 40 of them to go and work on the bigger escape tunnel for the other scorpions. If they have been assigned I will need to think where we can most afford a loss of ant-power.

    Alright, so 40 of the new IIwariors can go with the diggers and workers to help with the scorpian escape tunnel. Someone else should disperse the 35 other warriors, I am more of a field tactics ant then a details ant.

    Not a huge amount of change, we have more ants, we are called tyranids, we made a second queen, her name is Betty, she will be doing her own thing soon. Queens we make are allied but not under direct control, and are considered diferent broods. Our brood is splendorous so we are pretty, and we took upgrades to be able to talk to other bugs better, so we are starting diplo missions. Theres worms nearby, they are dumb, we captrued some aphids, they're scared, wasps are fighting spiders/scorpians, we are sending help. Other than a list of what upgrades we have taken that seams to be about what you need.

    Have we finished with that "regret" pherimone, if so we should try that with the aphids, we should also move 50 of the diggers expanding our food storage to work on an open air aphid pens, I dont think they like being underground. It should be near our nest but not connected by tunnels (we travel above ground to reach them). I doubt we are going to be able to "milk" them for food, but we may be able to harvest thier venom.

    Also we have 95 idle llwariors, and 105 idle wariors (if I counted right) we need to assighn.
    We can do some combination of.
    Disperce them in patrols/queen guard duty.
    Attack another earthworm (we have finished gathering the bounty of the previous one).
    Send them to the area near the wasp/spider fight so they can respond quickly if diplomacy goes well and out assistance is required.

    Alright, wasps have oficialy entered my shit list, well I guess as ants dont shit, it more of an anger list, but whatever.

    The 20 ants that are watching the fight need to go in and form as much as a perimiter around wounded spider as posible, project the "safety" pherimone. They are just workers so combat ability will be minimal, but if a wasp comes, they should try to hold/drag it down, go for the wings, etc and try imobilize it so the wounded spider finish it off. Primary objective is to keep the spider from recieving fatal wounds untill the strikeforce gets there. When the scorpian diploant gives the word and we open the tunnel I want all but 25 (inferinic warior II) to burst out of the tunnel and suport the spiders, try to talk them into a retreat, if not help them fight. The 25 that remain will act as a sternguard keeping wasps out of our tunnels.

    Naw let the overlands go overland, they are a bit behind the tunnelers, could make a minor pincer formation. we do have 90 IIwarrior and 115 wariors in the tunnel helping build it (though 25 of the IIwariors will play sternguard). Our burst forth should be impresive. We also have another 75 newborn IIwarior, we should send them also, as a second wave. Lets just hope this other ant hive we are talking to is not hostile
