You are Doctor Victor Von Doom, Ruler of Latveria, Rightful king of the world, Master wizard and genius scientist

You are at your helipad, where Richards is preparing to leave.

Your armies stand at:
90,000 Servo-Guards
683 Doombots
100 Doomknights
1600 Silent stalkers
100 Time bots
1 Battle CDC

Your navy consists of
40 Troop transports
20 Cruisers
5 Carriers
5 Battleships
1 Dreadnought
Please feel free to ask for prices

Finances stand at $21.5 billion dollars.
You have also received a grant of $10 billion to construct additional ships
Your new currency seems to be on the rise, being worth around $4.47 to one Latverian Victor. You may want to print more
In addition, you own a controlling percentage in Porsche and Mercedes Benz
There is also $7 million you acquired from the fantastic 4 as damages to my person. This too, is at your disposal
The colonies on Mars are thriving. The Atlantean habitats are complete, and the mutants homes are now completed. Magneto has moved his people there, and people are settling into a routine

Current allies are Molecule Man, Laura Kinney, Morgana le Fey, Otto Octavius, Deadpool and Magneto. Namor is also your friend, but does not respond well to orders.

You have several goals, including:
Rescue mother from Mephisto
Defeat Reed Richards and friends
Take over the world
Establish other interplanetary mining colonies

Short term goals include:
Finish up party

How would you like to proceed, Lord Doom?
>>
>>25220748
In response to Sue asking if Valeria is still welcome at LITT, we shall tell her that of course Valeria is still welcome, as is Franklin if he wishes to develop his powers.
With DOOM, the sins of the father are not passed on to the child.
>>
Is Susan still there?
>>
>>25220853
"Oh, good. I was worried Reed had said something terrible. Clearly he doesn't want her to be here, but it's what she wants, and I think it's best she spends some time away from home at the moment"
>>25220863
Yes, sir.
>>
>>25220904
>I think it's best she spends some time away from home at the moment
"Ah, her fights with her father about what science project to work on next, yes? Fortunately we have the facilities here to safely allow Valeria to pursue her interests.
"What of Franklin, then? Have his interests in science been sparked at all?"

Let's subtlety get Sue to talk about how abusive Richards has gotten.
>>
Okay guys, if we are going to tell Susan about the child abuse now is the time. We can explain away our inaction as caution - skrulls might have done so to distract us, and it could be a fabrication to gain our favor. However in light of RICHARDS erratic behavior we now fear the worst. I think we can get away with it, and instigate some Super Domestic Violence, which will fulfill the metahuman fight requirement for all super powered events (like weddings, birthdays, etc.)

I think we ought to do it, or else the info is useless.
>>
>>25220941
I don't think we should bring it up. She'll notice Frankin's hair is different and realise it's old footage
>>
>>25220853
This. Or taking inspiration from the responses of last thread:

>"Of course she may stay. Valeria is my god-daughter and DOOM will not deny her the best education she can receive in her field of choice. Franklin, too, if he wishes to learn to better harness his powers. My home is open to your family, despite what your husband may think. If you'd like, I can arrange transport to the Baxter Building so you won't have to worry about the long flight." --Point to the portal to their living room-- "You can return to retrieve your vehicle tomorrow. I'm sure Valeria and Franklin don't want to worry about, or hear, the kinds of things her father will be saying for the next few hours."
>>
>>25220960
No, no. Wait until Franklin has spent some time with us and admitted it to us, then use the Time Machine's time-ghost mode to take Susan back in time to witness it herself.
>>
>>25220970
I'm not bringing up the video of Richards slapping Franklin. Just innocently asking if Franklin is having the same opportunity as Valeria.
>>
>>25220941
"Not quite. And Franklin prefers playing to anything else. Lucky Valeria didn't teach him anything dangerous, really. He learned that quite quickly, is that normal? I don't think it looked too complex"
>>
>>25220904
>I was worried Reed had said something terrible
"He did say quite a few things that would have had him jailed in Germany, Britain, and most of the Middle East. I doubt he'll remember it tomorrow, though. And I suggest keeping him away from his lab until he sobers up. He started ranting about time dilation fields as a means of blocking my portals. The same rules apply to time travel as apply to motor vehicles and aircraft. It should never be attempted while intoxicated."
>>
>>25221069
>Is Sue referring to Franklin learning magic from Valeria?
"Usually it would take a little longer. It appears that Franklin has a talent for magic as well. Perhaps having Dr. Strange test his aptitude for magic would be best; better to know of what talents he has while he is young and to nurture their growth, after all."
>>
>>25221069
"Oh, it's not. It's one of the things almost all budding sorcerers learn, and many never move very far beyond it. I think he may be helping the process along with his own innate abilities, which I would very much like to see. Especially if he can combine them with magics. I don't think there has ever been a sorcerer who possessed genetically-augmented abilities besides magic before. It bears observation."
>>
>>25221179
No, no we shouldn't.

>>
>>25221111
Yes, sir
>>25221146
"Huh, Well, I think we need to have Steven over for dinner to apologise. I'll ask him to check then. And thank you, Victor. I don't know if you're trying to change your ways, but almost everyone prefers you like this. I think Ben wanted to say something. Goodnight"

Would you like to speak to Mr Grimm, sir?
>>
>>25221033
This is good. Removes us from the problem of sitting on our hands, but we need alone time with the kid.
>>
>>25221261
Yes. Also repeating the offer of portal use. A long car ride (or flight) with a drunk family member is not a pleasant experience.
>>
>>25221320
Yeah, it is already open, I guess
>>
>>25221261
We also need to speak to Strange before he leaves. I don't think we ever got an answer on whether or not he'd be willing to take on our senior students as 'Interns' in a few years.
>>
>>25221261
Yes

recommend we broach the subjects of starting a space pilot training program and granting him the ability to morph in and out of his super form if he does not bring them up himself.

unless offshoots such as Atlantean Mages.count.
>>
>>25221261
>speak with Grimm
Yes, we shall speak with him.
>>
>>25221371
"Oh, and could you tell Namor to wear...more at formal gatherings?"
She walks back to the VTOL, presumably to calm Richards down

"Hey, Doom. Just wanted to say sorry for what Reed said about you. I mean, don't get me wrong, we're not exactly buddies, but that's no reason to say you're as bad as the guy who killed your Mom and Dad"

>>25221361
I'll track him down for you, sir
>>25221361
>>
>>25221443
"His comparing me to Hitler was even less flattering, but I'll let it slide. Alcohol can turn the greatest of men into beasts. But I've been meaning to speak with you for a while now. You have a great deal of experience with piloting Reed's ships outside normal atmospheres. Microverse, negative zone, outer space. Once the war with the Skrulls is concluded, I plan on converting the normally robot-operated vessels in my fleet into human-crewed vessels and begin leasing them to other governments and private concerns. That means pilots will need to be trained to fly them. Would you be interested in a teaching position?"
>>
>>25221518
Oops. Swap 'Reed's' for 'Richards'." Sorry for the typo.
>>
>>25221518
He said we were just as bad as the last king of latveria, not hitler
>>
>>25221443
"Your apology on behalf of Richards is accepted, Benjamin Grimm.
"Alcohol, when not taken in moderation, can lead to actions many regret afterwards. Something that Richards has been doing with more frequency, lately."
>>
>>25221596
>>25221518
"Even if he is drunk, it was out of line. And he ain't gonna apologise. And I guess I would, if it means the pay's good. You'd need to fit some bigger controls, though."
>>
>>25221652
>You'd need to fit some bigger controls, though
"We shall see about that."
We really should work on that medallion or some other enchanted object that will let Grimm transform between his Thing form and his regular human form.
>>
>>25221652
Yes, speaking of such accomodations...I was considering your...condition and would like to take some measures to return you to human form. Would you be willing to volunteer your medical data so that I may begin work on a treatment?
>>
>>25221678
Morgan'd probably be able to do that pretty easily
>>
>>25221678
that just sounds sinister
>>
>>25221652
>You'd need to fit some bigger controls, though
"That is well within reason. I've been toying with the idea of shape-shifting controls that conform to the body type of the user. And the pay would be generous, as it is for all educators in my country. It would give me an opportunity to work on a cure for your condition, which Valeria has asked me to look into. I know you have been disappointed with previous attempts, and even a little jaded towards them, but I promised Valeria that I would find a way to make it happen. And you know how I feel about something I've given my word on."
>>
>>25221737
How is she handling a human-turned-rock and a man of living fire? I know that she's used to some strange things, being a sorceress, but the Marvel setting in modern times has a LOT of weirdness by anyone's standards.
>>
>>25221804
"Yeah, yeah, you always keep keep your word, I know. It'd be nice to be normal again, but no offence, it does seem like a trap. I'll get back to you on it. I haven't heard much from Reed about it, but I'll ask when he's sobered up. See you later, Vic"
>>
>>25221818
I don't know. Probably thought ben was a golem, and Johnny some kind of half elemental
>>
>>25221859
Let Ben go on his way.
We should ask Strange about the interns/apprentices.

Then I believe we're mostly done for the night.
>>
>>25221859
Tell them they can take an portal to New York if they want to. Being in one car with superpower drunk guy would only end in the bad things happening
>>
>>25221859
>>25221938
We just need to have a small chat with Valeria to calm her down
>>
>>25221938
>Then I believe we're mostly done for the night
we need to talk to the science villains and offer jobs.
>>
>>25221938
We still need to talk to the various 'villains' at the party. The science-guys we want to bring on board.

From last thread:
>Shocker
Developed anti-vibration padding that insulates him and his suit from the immense recoil of his vibration-cannon gauntlets. That he did all this in the 70's/80's without access to vibranium or tools more advanced than an auto-part store is impressive. We use him to build reinforcing structures to cusion the internals of our doombots and starships, rendering them resistant to kinetic weapons and vibration stress from moving parts and humming engines.

>Tinkerer
Master of most technologies with a simplistic innovation style. Rarely makes gadgets of his own but can improve nearly anything. We want to run the weapons, power cores, and electronics past him for all our forces.

>Magnetic Man
We want him working with Magneto on building an artificial magneto-sphere for Mars.

>Clayton Wilson, AKA Force
Master of force field technologies. We want him working on improving the shields on our robots and ships, maybe side-lining with MagMan and Magneto on the Mars shield thing. Also run the idea past him for force-field tools: Drill bits, rock crushers, bull dozers, etc. They'd never need cooling, lubrication, or cleaning. Revolutionize construction and mining.

>Beetle (the original one)
>The Raiders
Iron Man knock-offs, their insight on powered armor will help us improve the robots, before we let them branch into other tech for commercial use.
IIRC one of the raiders had an energy-draining weapon that could take Iron Man offline by sapping his batteries (back in the day). We want him studying skrull power systems to see if he can duplicate the effect on them.

>Rocket Racer
Built an anti-gravity skateboard when he was a teen. We want him working on propulsion tech for our ships, and possibly for future cars. Send him over to Porsche's R&D department.
>>
>>25221990
This. We need to talk to her and calm her down. Maybe get Johnny to help. He's good with kids.
>>
>>25222039
She probably calmed down after she was told she can stay
>>
>>25222007
there were some others like vulture but i forget the rest.

We need to bro it up with Namor.
we should get Storm to help terraform mars.
Beast may want to join one of our think tanks.
We should ask Captain America how is historical reading went and if he wish's to discuss it with us also ask his input on American cold war imperialism and area 51 and such "coverups".
>>
>>25222074
I think she was more upset over her father's behavior than anything else. Yes, learning that she's always welcome in our kingdom is nice, but her father is still being an ass and seeing one's parent drunk can be very traumatic for a 9 year old.
>>
>>25221938
You inform Grimm that there's a portal to the Baxter building next to the VTOL, and that they're welcome to use it. He looks a little worried as to why there's a portal to their home here, but tells the others to go through, and that he'll fly the plane back

Valeria is sat on the steps, sniffling a little.
"Daddy isn't normally like that, I promise!"
You turn and head back to the party, which looks to be winding down. Laura's talking with Logan and Charles, and Stark and a Latverian are arm wrestling
You walk over to Doctor Strange, who's sat down at a table. He doesn't look as though the night went to plan

He notices you approach and flicks a chair out for you

"Everything alright with Richards? I didn't really know what to do."
>>
>>25222112
>We should ask Captain America how is historical reading went and if he wish's to discuss it with us also ask his input on American cold war imperialism and area 51 and such "coverups
I'd go with the teaching route again. Ask if he'd be willing to be a guest speaker for our political science classes once a year, on the anniversary of D-Day or V-E-Day.

>we should get Storm to help terraform mars.
>Beast may want to join one of our think tanks.
These are good ideas, but we should be subtle and lead them to it instead of presenting it up front.

>We need to bro it up with Namor
We could point out that Susan mentioned noticing how little he wore. It certainly had an effect on her (It unnerved her, but that is, technically, an effect.)
>>
>>25222151
Wave Strange's concerns away.
"Nothing other than expected. Our personal feud has lasted years; not even DOOM can expect all to be forgiven and forgotten in a few short weeks.
"But enough of that. DOOM knows how busy you are, as Sorceror Supreme. And LITT has a need for a place where graduate students may acquire some hands-on training outside of an academic lab. What say you to accepting a grad student or two as an intern and apprentice?"
>>
>>25222151
"Doom assumes you told him about or conversation in the demonology classroom? What did he expect? that you would actually be that reckless?

>>25222168
all true but i think we should hang out with Namor and tell him of Susann's outward disapproval.
>>
>>25222265
Ladies love a man in a suit, and generally disapprove of a speedo, especially around their kids
>>
>>25222151
>>25222221
Seconding the first sentence but not so sure about the second one, it may be too soon for that.
>>
>>25222168
>We could point out that Susan mentioned noticing how little he wore. It certainly had an effect on her
Actually, we could be a bro about it instead.
"Namor, a woman's tastes in fashion are as ephemeral as the Aurora Borealis. DOOM has spoken with Susan, and she appears to be the type that appreciates a well-clothed man.
"Some women are attracted to that which is foreign and exotic, but she is the type that prefers the powerful and well-groomed. Preferably wearing what is in fashion for America, by DOOM's guess."
>>
>>25222151
"Alcohol. Richards was always a 'good student' in college, I doubt he has much experience with the stuff beyond disinfectant. He does not know his limits, and he exceeded them tonight. You did the best you could, in the circumstances, and Doom appreciates your help in stopping him from drunkenly flying a nuclear-powered car over Latveria. He and his family are home, now. But enough of him. I have a proposal for you, and a question."

"Have you ever given thought to your successor? Who will be Sorcerer Supreme when you are gone? I do not know what criteria you would look for, but I notice that you have no apprentices, no acolytes, and only one assistant. I understand that you cannot afford to teach full-time, as you are quite busy with affairs of the realms beyond. But would you consider taking on Interns? Once my new university has had time to train them properly, my students will need field training for whichever jobs they seek. I would send the best and brightest to you, to assist you in any way possible. I assure you, it will be less onerous than medical interns from when you were a doctor. And you are one of three people on the planet I would trust with such a task."
>>
How come nobody's talked to Valeria?
>>
>>25222333
we cant say nice things about Richards and that at is all that will make her feel better. Ie spaghetti avoidance
>>
>>25222333
Isn't she gone with her family?
>>
>>25222392
Nah, she's staying with us and she said something last post
>>
>>25222331
>>25222221
"True. He did take my "betrayal" somewhat badly, and he'd been in here longer than anyone but Laura. He's not exactly your biggest fan, and it looks like he only drank really expensive stuff, too. Seems quite petty, in retrospect.
I suppose you may have a point. If you'd still want me anywhere near your school, I'd like a more official tour. If not, I doubt Reed would object to me taking on Valeria"
>>
>>25222489
Me, I suck at this
>>
>>25222489
>official tour of LITT
"Of course you are welcome; you are the Sorcerer Supreme. Lucia, pencil in the day after tomorrow for an official tour for Dr. Strange. Unfortunately, DOOM's schedule tomorrow is booked solid."

We have a wormhole to find and defenses to build, after all.
>>
>>25222489
>If you'd still want me anywhere near your school
"How dose tomorrow afternoon sounds? Of course if you are busy we can arrange any other time you are configurable with"
Thats reminds me we need to thanks Laura for this surprise party
>>
>>25222151
>"Daddy isn't normally like that, I promise!"
"My dear Valeria, I have known your father a long time. I have seen him much, much better, and I have seen him much worse. It's not your fault. You know how smart people get upset when they make a mistake on a test? That's what your father is doing. He made a mistake in how he thinks about me, and he is too proud to admit it, and too stubborn to apologize. It's OK. He didn't hurt me or my feelings, and I'm not mad at him or anyone else in your family. I got used to this a long time before you were born."
>>
>>25222489
Richerds is pursuwasive and domm values your input you are still welcome here.

now we should go talk to our goddaughter and tell her to not worry to much Richards and DOOM have feuded for decades it will take time to allow him to trust us. Then tell her we have people we still must talk to and Doom passed her over because he Ricehrds saxes even Dooms patience and Doom wished to not speak ill of your father to you.

this >>25222584 is also good

>>25222507
we forgive you but you could use Firefox to make it less difficult.
>>
>>25222489
"Of course. If you'll return the day after tomorrow, I can provide a formal tour of the facilities. And I can think of no better teacher to impart the wisdom of responsible power use, save perhaps myself, for the next generation of sorcerers. Nobody wants another Baron Mordo."
>>
>>25222584
Subtle dig undermining her confidence and opinion of her father?
Making us look like the long-suffering bigger man?
Re-assuring her that she isn't to blame (a common misconception of children of difficult parents)
This is damned-near perfect. You're going to make a hell of a parent some day.
>>
>>25222551
Of course, sir. I'll make sure to run it by Ms le Fey to ensure it does not coincide with anything.

"Good, Good. I'm told you have excellent students, and I'll be glad to meet them."

>>25222584
"...I know, I'm sorry. It's just he always talked about how bad you are back at home, and then it just seems like he's being mean to you. It's just kind of.... strange. Is it alright if I just go to bed?"
>>
>>25222749
As long as he has a nemesis to blame things on
>>
>>25222761
> Is it alright if I just go to bed?"
of coarse I have people to talk to but i will come check on you later good night.
>>
>>25222761
>Valeria
"Of course, Valeria. Things will have calmed down by morning. Good night."

>Strange
"We shall look forward to hosting you, Strange."

Now, let's talk with some of the villains.
Most of these are of the mercenary type, so not as vulnerable to the mid-life crisis speech we used on Octavius. We'll have to keep that in mind.
>>
>>25222761
>Is it alright if I just go to bed?"
"Of course. I'll be sure to save some of the cake for you to enjoy tomorrow. Please sleep well."

>>25222761
>I'm told you have excellent students, and I'll be glad to meet them
"Perhaps a special guest lecture? They have worked very hard on the abstract. They are ready for some of the more useful teachings, I think. Perhaps a lesson on the Crimson Bands of Cytorrak? I think the meditation pool in my new floating garden will be a good place for such, yes?"
>>
>>25222814
>>25222867
"That could be good, I did want to have a look at those gardens. I'll be glad to"

"Okay. Goodnight, Uncle Doom. And happy birthday."

Of course, sir, I've told them to assemble in the conference room.
>>
>>25220748
hey guys i realized we should take a slight evaluation of our goals.
i mean why in the shit would we want to take over this world?
we can do something better and simply conquer everything else, leave this worlds petty arguing for those who arn't as great as DOOM's might.
just leave it be, and lets go do the important things, like attaining the power of a god.
>>
>>25222914
Head on up, then. Don't want to keep them waiting
>>
>>25222948
>i mean why in the shit would we want to take over this world?
>we can do something better and simply conquer everything else, leave this worlds petty arguing for those who arn't as great as DOOM's might.
Because Doom cares about humanity. And while humanity might not know what is best for it, it still needs Doom to rule it for its own good.
>>
>>25222914
Then we will meet them in the conference room.

Remember that these are mercenary villains. We can offer them government contracts, but we will need to check their work so that they don't build in backdoors; the Tinkerer is notorious for building self-destructs and backdoors into the weapons that he builds for other villains.
>>
>>25222948
DOOM's core goal is to save humanity we dont want alien worshipers we want to elevate all mankind to our level.

>>25223032
As mercenaries they may appreciate our offer of long term stable employment that may pay slightly less but that is free and clear and requires no fencing laundering or playing it quit.
>>
>>25222814
>Most of these are of the mercenary type, so not as vulnerable to the mid-life crisis speech we used on Octavius.
It should work, in part. The whole thing about goals and stability in life. The pay is good, but the thing we can really offer them, the thing that clinched the deal with Octavius, is LEGITIMACY. No more running. No more hiding. No more punch-outs with gaudy-dressed boyscouts with ray-guns or super-strength. If they want excitement, we can include them in our armed forces as irregular specialists. If they want wealth and influence, we'll put them in a lab or second them to one of our companies. If they want power, they're free to run for office in one of the colonies. There's no downside to this deal for anyone. It's all win/win.
>>
>>25223032
>>25223011
Excusing yourself, You leave Strange at the table, and head up to your meeting room.
Entering, you find them all sat around your antique ebony table. It seems few of them have learned the use of coasters

It seems they've all changed into their various costumes
>>
>>25223102
"It is good that you could attend, gentlemen. DOOM has a proposal for you all. Latveria could use your skills and talents as it expands.
"DOOM offers you all a chance to work as contractors to Latveria's national labs and projects."
>>
>>25223102
"Gentlemen. Costumes are not necessary here, though I suppose it is an easy way to identify what your specialty is. Now, I need to ask you some questions. What is your lifestyle like right now? Where do you see yourself, realistically, in five years? Fifteen? Still knocking over banks or taking muscle-for-money jobs? I think by now you've heard of Doctor Otto Octavius. I'm here to offer you what I offered him."

"Steady work, in or out of costume makes no difference. I'm offering freedom, full pardons in my country and colonies, Respectable pay on a regular basis, the respect of your colleagues and the scientific community as a whole. How many of you have ever thought 'If only I'd been born wealthy, I could have been Iron Man and lived Tony Stark's life?' Or 'If I only had a chance, I could be the next Mister Fantastic?' Well, here's your chance. Are you ready for the world to think of you as men of the future?"
>>
>>25223102
Gentlemen. Some of you may be wondering why DOOM has asked you here. There are several responses but most importantly, Look at the world look at ourselves. we are some of the greatest inventor and scientists the world has ever seen yet technological progress is little beyond what it was in the 80s. We could have gone to the stars by now with out combined talents. Instead we waste our efforts in pettie crime and punch-outs with gaudy-dressed boyscouts with ray-guns or super-strength.
I propose we work on bettering hmainites lot and in the process make ourselves all rich and powerful DOOM offers you legitimacy for Resurch, Power, and Wealth all without the need to run and hide or even break the law.
>>
>>25223102
they don't use coasters? Can I shoot them?

There is some talking amongst themselves as they consider your offer, with the exception of the Tinkerer, who's currently dismantling the phone.

Eventually, Shocker shuts them up, and says:
"I think we all have a few questions
Firstly, if costumes aren't neccessary, why are you wearing one?
Second, and probably the most important one, how respectable is this respectable pay?
and third, what exactly do we need to do?"
>>
>>25223407
I guess they just do what they're best at
>>
>>25223407

>Firstly, if costumes aren't neccessary, why are you wearing one?
"What you see its not just a costume but an robe the king, since...you know... Doom is a King of Laveria"
>Second, and probably the most important one, how respectable is this respectable pay?
"I assume a salary similar to the one an surgeons would have is good enough for you? " (everybody knows that this kind of specialist gets pay high)
>and third, what exactly do we need to do?
"You all been summon here due to yours extraordinary science skills "
>>25222007
>>
>>25223366
Hell yes. also thank goodness we can fix the table with magic or time reversal technology. or DOOM would be pissed as opposed to annoyed.

>>25223407
First Costumes aren't neccessary I didn't say they weren't stylish or enjoyable for there own sake.
Second Relatively but remember this pay will not have to be launderer or hidden so that dollar per dollar it is worth more than ay heist or shady deal. To be blunt well into 6 figures annually more based on your choice of focus and results.

As for work thre are many paths each of yo may chosee
You could work in a lab you could run a research team with a group of subordinates you could even work in my military defending humanity from threats like the Scrull if you want excitement.

In particular I want to advance humanities technological base and allow our discoveries to aid the masses including teriforming Mars and improving my space Navy.
>>
>>25223407
"It's entirely functional power armor. Also, you really, really don't want to see DOOM's face.

As for remunerative, shall we say 10 million USD per year, plus a stake in the profits of whatever inventions are made with your assistance. Obviously the percentage would be determined by how many others assisted you and what financial and technical resources I provide.
As for the work, I am currently working on a power armor project, designing building and upgrading an interstellar fleet of warships, terriforming mars, and wide scale power infrastructure upgrades, in addition to continuing R&D on my existing assets."
>>
>>25223560
we should also point out that the low end of the pay scale comes with lab access paid for by us and a lot of freedom to work as they pleas.
>>
>>25223407
"This is no costume; as the leader of a sovereign nation and spearhead of a planetary defense initiative, DOOM wears this armor as a matter of practicality and pragmatism. And this mask, all have heard of the scars received from an accident, and which now require the wearing of this mask. Would you insist on a man missing an eye to not wear an eyepatch?
"Second, upper six figures, tendered in Latverian Victors or American Dollars.
"Third, use your skills to complete projects of DOOM's choosing in order to further Latveria's security."
>>
>>25223407
I do not wear a costume. This armor ismy unifrom, of sorts, here in Latveria. It is protection from the occasional assassination attempt. It helps hide the terrible damage Richards' ineptitude caused to my face."

"The pay depends on you. If you wish a comfortable laboratory position, working as an engineer or scientist, then I can offer you a standard Latverian government salary, augmented by 85% of the royalties on all technology you produce which I put on the commercial market. If you want greater wealth, I can set you up in one of the corporations I now own. Slightly higher pay, reduced ownership of your patents, but stock options should more than make up for it. If you're of a more violent mindset and wish to continue your lives of 'adventure', as it were, then you could enlist in Latveria's military. I'm sure by now you've heard of our war with the alien Skrulls? With the UN throwing money at me to protect them, I'm sure I could consider a 'hazard pay' option for technical specialists. I'd prefer it if you took the first or second option, but the third is on the table."

If you take the first two options, all you'd need to do is use my laboratories, my money, and my resources to build whatever suits your fancy. Weapons, armors, vehicles, engines, flashlights, batteries, whatever. You are all brilliant engineers and scientists. Think how Smith and Wesson felt when they armed the entirety of the US military a century and a half ago. Now imagine the entire UN wearing your armors, wielding your weapons, and thanking you in silent prayers as they come home from war unscathed. Each of you could be the next Henry Ford, or Khalishnakof, or Tesla, or Stark. I'm offering you the chance to sit down, work with real tools and real labs, and carve your names into Earth's history as scientific greats."

The sound of $10 million a year seems to go over well. In particular, with Magnetic Man

"I, at least got into costume because I thought you wanted us for a new Masters of Evil or something." says shocker
"They briefly discuss the merits and downsides of this plan. The Prevailing theme of the Pros seems to be a marked increase in money, while the downsides include possible death as a result of failure

"I think I'm in, Mister Doom. I've got a family to think about, and while we're comfortable now, I think that much money would improve our lives drastically. And stopping the skrulls is important, of course" Says Magnetic man

"I'm in too. Not going to be noble, mostly in it for the money. But guess If I'm helping everyone too, that can't be such a bad thing" says Shocker

"Can I have one of your Doombots?" Tinkerer asks

The apparent head of the raiders says "Not sure we'd be able to help much on research, but we could get someone in for you. We'd join your military for that kind of money though. I'm sure our employer will understand"

"I'm a little out of my depth here, but I'll help how I can" Says rocket racer

"I must say, I'm a little disappointed. I was sure there'd be much more of an "attacking the fantastic 4" side to this, but I'm in"

"I doubt my part will take long, but I'll go for it too. Point us in the direction of these labs, and we'll get going"

sorry that took so long
>>
>>25223956
Send em to the labs.
Give em a free Doombot to test shit out on. Make sure to wipe the memory first.
Ask them to design some cool shit, a cool weapon perhaps that we could build a spaceship around.
>>
>>25223956
"Welcome aboard gentleman"
Get our architects/builders to them and start to designing theirs new R&D laboratories, also lets prepare them their new Latverian citizenship.
Lets get back, and thank Lauren for the party
>>
>>25223956
The Tinkerer may have a Doombot, but it shall be taken out of his pay. And its network chip and other identification circuitry will be removed and purged from our security protocols so that he can't use it to access other Doombots or our central computer.

Have the Ministry of State handle their work papers, and other such documentation.
Then point them towards the labs, the portals that lead to the Mars colonies, the asteroid shipyards, and to the Latverian military.

I believe our last item should be to inform Namor of Susan's likes and dislikes concerning men and their fashion.
>>
>>25223956
>"I'm a little out of my depth here, but I'll help how I can" Says rocket race
"Actually, I think you'll do just fine. It's not common knowledge yet, but I am majority owner of both Porsche and Mercedes Benz. Within the next decade, I'm going to leverage that into making all other car companies obsolete. Gentlemen, all of you, we aren't just looking at a few improvements over the norm. and the war with the skrulls isn't just a border skirmish. I intend to do for the whole planet what World War 2 did for America's wealthy middle class. In seventy five years, your grand children won't be able to imagine living in the kind of 'poverty' they'd consider today's modern life to be. And your names will be writ large in the history books."
>>
>>25223956
Put Mr Force on the modular power armor project.
>>

>>25223994
>>25224059
They all thank you, and shake your hand. They also wish you a happy birthday, and head back downstairs

Of course, sir. I'll have it sent to this lab.
I'll make sure to polish the table later, too

>>25224074
"Really? Wow. Now that's something I could do. Best start learning German, then"

>>25224099
Yes, sir. I'll send him to the design team.

Would you like to go back downstairs?
>>
>>25224193
yes we need to thank Laura talk to Namor and finish of the night With Morgana (tell her we saved the best for last.)
>>
>>25224193
>Would you like to go back downstairs?
Yes. We need to speak with Namor.
>>
>>25224232
You head back downstairs, hoping nothing's too broken. Fortunately, nothing's on fire, though Cyclops seems to have found a traffic cone, and Deadpool(s) seem to have shown up

You find your way through the crowd to find Namor, who seems to be trying to make up with Captain America

"Ah, Doom! I haven't seen you around much. Where have you been?"
>>
>>25224340
Had to deal with Richards. Couldn't let him fly off drunk. He might have crashed the plane, and that would be a complete fiasco.
>>
>>25224340
"Attending to other guests, and getting Richards to his home without him at the controls of his car."

We should try to tell Namor about Susan's preference for well-dressed men.
>>
>>25224340
are we going to ask him to give an audition about the ww2 history to out school in some future
>>
>>25224433
Not sure if it's well dressed men or just men who aren't in speedos all the time
>>
I think one of our earlier plans was to bring Buckey back, since his death makes saving him tracelessly pretty easy. Alternatively, if we are using the winter soldier timeline we can probably get Captain America to murder Putin, and that will be fun.
>>
>>25224448
Namor can be one of our first clients for Victor's Fine Clothing.

"I suppose it'd be suspicious if he died on your birthday, but then again, I don't think he got you a present"

Sorry we didn't get very far, but the party should be over next thread. That'll have to be it, I'm afraid. It's been fun, at least, and I hope you're enjoying it too. I'll be back wednesday. Goodnight!
>>
>>25224542
huh?
It's not like Bucky is a threat to DOOM. Plus aren't we going to totally wreck the Russian economy? Putin will probably send assassins after us anyway.
>>
>>25224558
Thanks for yet another entertaining thread op
>>
>>25224575
Putin would most likely come in person with a pair of pliers for our fillings
>>
>>25224575
Im just thinking we shouldn't get anybody back from death (except of the mother) otherwise it will end up badly.
>Putin will probably send assassins after us anyway.
Consider that we just removed 5000+ skrulls from all over the globe in less than 10 minutes am sure he knows that no body messes with Doom.
>>
Op seems to have not archived this one. Could someone do that? I would but I'm on mobile
>>
>>25224633
We have time machine, he dies in the water with no one looking and nobody ever finds his body. Thus no one would be able to tell if we remove him to our time before he dies.
>>
>>25224670
yes if we do bring him back it well only be non paradoxical time shenanigans or we and cap rescue him ether one.
