Peter Parker Quest, Issue #11
>Spider-man, Hero or Menace?

Rules: http://pastebin.com/w5G3aG3Y
Character sheet: http://pastebin.com/q1AqTT5h
My twitter: https://twitter.com/QuestOp
Archives: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Peter%20Parker%20Quest

Things have been… weird lately. You’re a newspaper-worthy, it seems. Kinda. Well, your alter ego ‘Spider-man is.’ He’s been the talk of the town ever since the failure of the Black cat’s heist.

It’s been

>[ ]A few Days
>[ ]a few weeks
>[ ]Three months

>ALSO, you have a question for completing the last arc. You may use it to ask me anything. It doesn’t even have to be about the plot, (in fact I recommend that it isn‘t!), but rather ‘do X or Y’ exist in this universe or since you’ve mentioned Y, which version is the biggest inspiration or did you go all original?, other small details. If it’s a good enough question and it makes sense to be, it might even become in universe knowledge for Peter!

Question: Was Black Cat telling the truth because that isn't something a person who did their first kiss would do? Then again it's black cat
>>

>[x] three months
Months in which we have been busy not quite being a vigilante...but being a concerned citizen with super powers.

I ask you, Cosgrove, do Mutants (full on active X Gene) exist?
>>

Does SHIELD exist?
>>

Mostly to move along the marvel timeline and get Iron Man and others

My question is this: Have they recovered Captain America from the ice and thawed him yet? Which Cap incarnation do you plan on drawing the most from for inspiration?

>The X-gene?
>There could be said that there is a sub school of individuals with a variable mutagenic gene which has been categorized with the ‘X’ Variable, yes. However, there has been no proof of its existence barring a few ‘mad ramblings’ about the possibilities in the sixties which were dropped as ‘unfounded’ and many of the people who supported its existence have since recanted of it, Professor Charles Xavier being the foremost as he has since isolated himself to a philanthropic lifestyle and has been quoted with saying

>“The sixties were a different time. We were all young and riding high off the stories of Captain America. But there’s no such thing as a gene that makes you superhuman. it’s a fantasy just as big as Captain America having been anything other than propaganda for the Allies. Now, were you here actually interview me or were you here just to waste my time?”

Furthermore, the spokesperson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division merely raised an eyebrow when asked and responded, "I personally have no comment on the subject nor does my department but, off the record, I fidn it hard to beleive that there is such a thing as a 'gene that gives people superpowers' if there was, don't you think it'd be in the news?

>[ ]A few Days

You’ve mostly been laying low and living as normally as possible. You’ve gone to school and stuck around your house. You received a call from Felix’s father on your next tutoring session to inform you that Felix was currently having health problems and that he would unfortunately be unable to host any tutoring sessions, but that Felix would call you as soon as he was well again.

At least you spent yesterday hanging out with Harry. That’s been the one upside, considering that Gwen has not looked at you or spoken to you or answered your calls… at all, really. You let out a sigh an resume reading your textbook on mechanical engineering.

And then there’s the matter of the money from the reward. Two grand. You should get some of it to Uncle Ben or Aunt May, but how? How do you just give people large amounts of money without them asking questions about how you got it?

You snap the book shut and toss it onto your desk.

We used to have a car fund that we've since spent. Assuming it was less than two grand, match that amount, sit our uncle down and have "the money talk." We don't really need a car, sure it be nice, but we can always get around with public transportation. And we know we've been a burden, maybe a happy one, one the love, but a burden nonetheless. Tell uncle Ben that we're asking to be able to help the most important people in our life. He'll understand.

>>
You know, we don't even need to talk to Uncle Ben and Aunt May about the money. We live in their house. We grab one of their deposit slips, go down to the bank, put it directly into their account. They'll have no idea where this money came from.

Still think she's mostly pissed that we sort of let the black cat get away. And she has that stalker.

Hey, could we rig up some kind of cheap security camera to catch the guy slipping hate mail in her locker? Might be good to have evidence of the crime in our back pocket.
>>
So I had an idea for Gwen's Spider hero name. Commuter even thought it was a good idea. Wiki Nephila. It means fond of spinning in Ancient Greek and is the name of a genus of spider, many members of which can spin golden webs. The females are also bigger than the males. This fits us wanting Gwen to go strength route and it would be a nice difference for her to have golden webbing, I am sure we could some how get the formula dyed golden. Also, the Japanese have a youki modeled after these types of spiders that turns into a hot babe.

So, what do you guys think?
>>
>>27012609
Ok, that ACTUALLY wasn't out fault.

If the NYPD can't keep a handcuffed high-profile suspect in custody for 30 fucking seconds, that is hardly our problem. If we were a legit superhero sworn to fight crime then it would have been our problem, but right then we weren't. We were just a highschool student in a mask out to make a quick buck to help his elderly relatives pay the bills.

As for the Black Cat encounter afterwards... well, she just sorta came at us, ya know? How were we supposed to know our normal levels of snark would set her off like that?
>>
>>27012724

Are you saying Wiki Nephila or just Nephila? Nephila doesn't sound too terrible

Hmm, like the golden thread for Gwen idea. Not sure on the name yet (if we're going with Greek, the obvious choice just sounds better to me), but let me kick the tires on it for a bit.
>>
>>27012769
Yeah it does.
>>
>>27012734
This so hard
Regardless of your personal opinion on Spiderman, we're not him. We're nowhere near the level of angst or power he's at, and if someone can break away from multiple NYPD officers while handcuffed, we're not entirely sure we want to take them on.

More to the point, we have no reason to take them on. Vigilantism is illegal.
>>
>>27012769
I meant go to Wikipedia and look up Nephila. I will admit the name isn't that great but I came upon it because I was looking at a superhero name generator and had it doing arachnid names along with colors. It came out with Ruby Web and then I went looking to see if there were spiders that had webs that were colors other than white. Apparently there are. The name is at least better than Charlotte though.
>>
>>27012814
Personally I'm fond of Arachnia.
>>
>>27012724
Nah... it seems too esoteric. I'm all for calling her Scarlet Spider, or maybe we could call her Weaver, as in the Orb Weaver Spider... Just a couple of suggestions.
>>
>>27012854
I'm all for Scarlet Spider too... it'll fit for when we get her the Red Symbiote..

I wonder who our Toxin will be..
>>
>>27012854
>>27012837
>>27012814
How about just Goldie?

Anyway lets cross that bridge when and if we get to it. She's not talking to us, let alone thinking about playing dressup herself.
>>
>>27012837
I was just throwing the name out there, but I do like the gold webbing to differentiate her from Spider-Man. The Golden Silk Orb Weaver colors vary from reddish to greenish yellow in color with distinctive whiteness on the cephalothorax and the beginning of the abdomen, to take from wikipedia. That kind of color scheme could also serve to differentiate her too.
>>
>>27012854

No damn you, scarlet spider is reserved for clone bros only!!!!!
>>
Spider-Woman maybe?
>>
>>27012912
I like "Spider-Girl" from an aesthetic standpoint, but with "Spider-Man" out there, there's no way it wouldn't sound condescending.
>>
>>27012877
Eddie Brock? Harry Osborn?

If we're planning on keeping and befriending the symbiote, having it spawn a not-fucking-crazy Carnage symbiote, and it spawning a symbiote of its own, I'm all for keeping the symbiotes exclusive to our circle of friends.

So yeah, let's have Toxin, if and when it is ever created, go to Eddie or Harry; presuming they don't end up villains thanks to our slight metagaming.
>>
>>27012939
Well, we could always change our name to "Spider-Guy"
>>
>>27012979
I'd say "Spider-Bro", but I assumed that would be taken by Eddie Brock.
>>
>>27012912
We could actually break canon and not spread the name spiderman...

How about Cobalt Spider?
>>
>>27013007
Or one to our inevitable clones.

Weaver sounds good. It's a reference to her hobby of making costumes, it's spider-related without it seeming too obvious, and when I think of a Orb Weaver-inspired costume, I think of Spinnerette, and while the story's... not THAT good, the character designs are interesting at least.

>[ ]Try to call Gwen….again

You pick up the nearby newspaper, a reprinting since it sold so well on its first run, or the Daily Bugle article on Spider-man. There, on the front page, is Spider-man saluting the photographer. From here you can see how amateurish it is, honestly. The article is by Eddie Brock and its surprisingly supportive. They offer words like ‘suspicious’ sure but there’s also a nice little bit that offers support of you for having caught the Black Cat… as it blasts the police for being so incompetent as to let her get away.

Nothing on you and the Black Cat’s…. meeting, so guess Jameson and Eddie might have a more favorable opinion of you. For the moment, at least. Still, that probably doesn’t help things between you and Gwen any. You set down the newspaper and pick up the phone, calling her number. It rings twice before it goes to voice mail.

…Yup, still not talking.

You hang up and, looking at the paper, decide to call Eddie. There three rigns before the phone picks up. “Hello, Eddie Brock speaking, who is this?” His voice is a bit tense and impatient.

“It’s Peter, Eddie.”

Any tenseness on the line fades as he lets out a sigh of relief. “Ah, good to hear from you, Pete. Though can it wait? I’m in the middle of an investigation and I need to be focused. Are you busy tomorrow night? I can call you and talk to you then, buddy. Later!”

There’s someone else’s voice on the other end as Eddie hangs up. You rest your head against the desk you’re sitting at before letting out a sigh as you open up your wallet and take a card out from the back and look at it.

It’s the card the Black Cat gave you. You shouldn’t trust her, not even once, but… She’s still your best help for sneaking into Oscorp. Well, if she actually will help you. But there’s no way in hell you’re calling that number from your house, there’s a good chance she’ll track you to your house and family.

You put the card back and grab your jacket. And if you’re going to be Spider-man again, you’ll need a better costume, one that’s more durable. And, right now, you have some money to work with.

Now what is it that has Gwen so upset. It can't be the fact we confessed we liked her. I mean it was incredibly obvious to everyone but Peter that she had a thing for him.
>>
>>27013223
I refuse to believe that we do not have a library card.

But if we somehow don't, then we should acquire one immediately.

Not only does it grant access to books, but also a chance of being able to use computers that can't be directly traced back to us.
>>

Yeah, nah, Let's go to the local library, find a book on costuming, and like >>27013223 said, just write down the information we really want.

It could be because we inadvertently made her dad look bad in front of the entire city of New York.

...But c'mon, you know the Black Cat is a master of disguise, but you don't question your daughter suddenly showing up at a soon-to-be crime scene?
>>

If so then her actual stalker has probably been making use of them by now. If we want to talk to her we're going to have to do it in person.

Using a library card leaves records easily traced. Using our cash from the rescue is much harder to track
>>
>>27013375
Is that really any less obvious?

But I don't know, the Black Cat likely has training with parkour and we were able to notice her pretty quickly.

Not sure when Gwen would have had the time to learn how to move silently and evade any detection.
>>
>>27013405
We don't even have to check books out of the library though.

>>

We don't HAVE to chec out a book. We can just take it off the shelf, read it, copy down info, then put it back.

BAM, we obtain relevant info, we don't leave any sort of traceable records, AND we save money.

We are Peter "Penny-Pinching" Parker.
>>
>>27013347
Apologies. I think that before contacting the super thief we should probably figure out the layout of Oscorp, exactly what we are looking for (stuff on dad, evidence of wrong doing and everything one genetic manipulation at least) and what our priorities for the operation actually are. Muay Thai is a combat sport from the muay martial arts of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on foot is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fight very efficient

I agree on karate. A practicioner that learns to apply their techniques outside of the practiced forms is dangerous as hell.
Tournaments are no comparison either as most of what karate teaches is meant to maim, break, and cripple.

An unleashed Karateka will kill you with his bare hands.
A skilled one will render you incapacitated in very few moves.

It's not good for spidey though in terms of the forms however. Spidey's got superhuman agility and strength so I'm backing something more graceful like Capoeira.

It's hard to be effective in the real world, however if spidey used it, he'd be nigh-untouchable with their evasive movements, propensity to "not" get caught. Then theres the use of the body's agility, flexibility, kicks... It'd be great for spidey and rightly less lethal and destructive.

I also get the feeling that a boxing spiderman will destroy his hand with his own strength if he fucks up a punch on a bruiser like Rhino/Scorpion/Green Goblin..

Tournament guy here. I'm a brown belt in Karate ("retired" due to having my leg broke too many times) and ya it's good stuff; especially if it's not a McDojo. If you fuse it with Muay Thai like a few of the other students did you can really do some critical damage. And this is in mind with my teacher only teaching us the core stuff, katas, etc. It was pretty much street fighting and it was awesome. Some of the best days of my life.
>>
>>27014603
Bagua still fits better with how we'd best use our advantages as Spiderman. Being able to take someone's back in a fight with our agility means we become very hard to hit, making the most of our current stat distribution.

Anyone drawing the more obvious conclusion here?

Gwens on Heavy lockdown by her dad because she might've been assaulted by Black Cat so that she/the He version could steal her identity.

Which also means Black Cat probably swiped her cell and still has it or tossed it.

Now i also dont want to get into the whole thing if Black Cat could've taken Gwen with her spider sense, but the MO before was, knock out someone, take their identity, get in to the place and steal.

None of us brought this up before.

>[X] Costuming

You go to one of the computers that allow you to look up books and search for something on costuming. You spend time on it and, eventually, find some different subjects on the matter.

At your current skill level, you can have something that’s easy to move in- like spandex-like materials. Or you can have a multiple piece outfit that’s more durable. Or you can just worry about making the costume look good.

You go for something that is

We have no in-character reason to think that durability would be a significant concern.

Our proto-costume didn't rip or tear at all, and we currently have no intention of fighting anyone.

The only reason we thought we might need a better costume would be because we noticed it looked bad when we got our picture taken.

Gonna be honest, the idea of Tony being a head in a jar is actually pretty funny.
>>
Guys, we need to leave Rider Spider theme for Gwen; she's a fan after all.

Durability, Cos.

Seems like we'd have to put less upkeep into the costume and if we're going into Oscorp, a more durable outfit will probably help.
>>
>>27015681
Jar full of booze.
>>
>>27015633
Hmm, how much of a hindrance are we talking here? I'd happily sacrifice (+2) on agility rolls for a significant durability boost and some damage reduction, but I think we probably need to upgrade our costum making skills before that's going to be a legitimate option. On the other hand, if we could then I'd happily switch my vote from flexibility to durability.

>>
>>27015651
At base costs? Yes. Actually, I'm going to explain things and take a new vote because it might change people's choices.

Basically there's three costume choices here and that's how you're going to focus on your costume, the other two aspects becoming secondary focuses

Ease to move in- Basic Spiderman outfit. These outfits will be more focused upon moving and getting around fast. They're also thin enough to put under normal clothes. This line leads to more agile suits- with no agility roll penalties.

Durability- thicker multi-part uniform that focuses on protecting you from damage and allows you to not have to replace it so often. The thicker material is not able to be hidden, so you will need to change into this. This line is more protective and the Spider-armors would be considered parts of this line. This line will add to constitution- damage reduction if you will.

Stylish- These outfits are designed with aesthetics first and foremost and give bonuses to fellowship based on the design. Spiderman Noir and anything fancy like people asking for 'Kamen Spiderman' would be part of this line.

At your current Costuming level- you will have to focus on one branch.

In the sense that it's made up of a lot of parts that can be replaced as they're damaged, yes. But the Noir uniform is (except for the mask, boots, and gloves) just clothes.

>Making a spider themed costume instead of a cat themed one
>>
>I'm going to make this compromise- You'll make a durable outfit that tries to be stylish

you'll take some penalties to their strengths. you won't have as much durability as a normal durable one or it won't look as good as a normal stylish one. But you'll have less of the penalties of stylish, as durable was the basis.

It will also be a slightly harder roll to make.

Electronics. See if we can't start thinking up some ideas for shit like Spider Tracer prototypes. Since we upgraded our Spider Sense so we know where the danger is coming from, and Spidey uses his Spider Sense to keep track of his tracers, it'd be easier to keep track of them than if we didn't upgrade out Spider Sense

Mostly we're just joking about it. Like someone said up-thread: Uncle Ben can't die until his death would have karmic significance. He's safe for now.

Technically talking to him doesn't have to be sitting down and starting a conversation.

We can just ask him if he's doing alright if evidently we noticed something that warrants further investigation.

...Like is there something wrong with my computer, that's stopping me from seeing the picture?

I mean is the guy wearing a costume? Covered in blood? Has green skin? Is the Watcher?
>>
>>27018273
I'm not totally sure why we're so scared of Uncle Ben dying. His uncle died in the cannon fiction and he turned out great until he died for completely unrelated reasons.

On the other hand, he visited another universe where Uncle Ben survived (but May died) and he turned into a super villain.
>>
Well this is either Red or just some random guy stopping us from getting hope to prevent Red from killing everyone.
Hope we get back in time like we promised though.

We do that because we screwed him over.
Bad.
If the police fail to catch a master thief, that's one thing.
But losing a suspect in custody, nevermind that there was no way they could hold her, is something else alltogether.
JJ is probably breathing down NYPD necks to get Stacy fired.
And its our fault.
THAT'S why gwen won't talk to us.
>>

It isn't, though. If they'd caught old Blackie all on their own, they would've had the same problem.

Their inability to catch Black Cat, or recognize that she was an impostor in the first place, is entirely their own fault.
>>

We captured her. We can't haul her off to jail for them and guard her 24/7. At some point the police have to take responsibility.

>[ ]Talk to the man.

You approach him, not getting too good of a look at him, but he’s got lots of traveling bags on the bench with him. Seems like he’s looking at a map.

“Excuse me, sir?”

His head snaps up and he stares at you. His stare’s unnerving, like he sees through you and everything you’ve done, his gaunt face only adding to the effect. He’s got dark red hair and seems to be wearing a priest’s outfit.

“Yes?”

His voice is recognizably tinged with a southern drawl, but he seems to be trying to suppress it. You clear your throat and look at him and his bags.

“Do you need any help?”

The man blinks and then an empty smile crosses his face. This man doesn’t send off your spidier-sense, but he’s unnerving as hell.

“Ask and the lord shall provide, eh?”

He shakes his head lightly. “Yes, I need to know where to find Our Lady of Saints Church. Do you know how I can get there?”

You think about it before nodding. Yeah, you’ve seen that place before From here… You relay the instructions as the man rises and look down on you. “Thank you, my son. I must be going now.”

He grabs all the bags, showing extraordinary strength for a man so thin, and begins to head off. Before long, its just you, alone, in the park.

Well, that assumes that they would be able to contain her with us. When we left her with them her legs were webbed up. She somehow managed to get out of that, change into her costume, and evade or disable the entire police detail guarding her. I doubt we could do more than slow her down. Even if we could, it seems kind of unfair to blame us. If the Black Cat could fool Captain Stacy so easily, and get past her police guard, it kind of is the police's fault. The intervention of superhuman vigilantes should never be necessary unless you're dealing with Doctor Doom or the like. Step up your game, NYPD.

Some of the comics, thankfully none that are current canon, posited that Wolverine was not actually a mutant but a genetic throwback to a proto-hominid species that bred into homo sapiens eons ago. The result is that he has adaptations designed for extreme combat and survival scenarios. Which is kind of silly, because you'd think there would be a fossil record of a species of hominid with bone claws. Then again, Moon Boy exists in the Marvel universe, so anthropology must be a pretty wild field.

Actually, that's my question for the next time Cosgrove gives us a free bit of setting-expansion: Did Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur exist in this timeline? I really want the evolutionary history of this world to include an immortal firetruck-red tyrannosaurus who adventured with an adorable monkey-boy.

Oscorp is going to be one hell of an enemy to have (multimillion dollar, I'm sorry, multiBillion dollar PR wing focused on destroying Spiderman's image and credibility. Hit squads sent to make sure the spider has a little accident...) so we'd better dame well make sure that the juice is worth the squeeze. We plan this and we go in fully prepared, not half assed and fully reliant on a thief we met on a roof top after handing her to the police. For all we know the black cat wants to sell us to Oscorp as a test subject.
>>
>>27018861
She doesn't know we have powers; but if she ever did that's a possibility.
>>
>>27018884
...We burst into the top story of a building spraying webs, calling ourselves "Spider-Man." I think that guy's being paranoid too, but if she doesn't realize we have powers she's pretty dumb.
>>
>>27018884
>>27018861

Her interest is likely in the fact that there's something there for her, though her reluctance to act alone could be for reason that she's not interested in soloing the run without someone to back her up.
The webshooters will be useful in wrapping up security, she'll be able to pick hard locks, and the two can pilfer ID cards and the like.

We could also opt to make a third costume made for working along-side Black cat without a Spider logo or affiliation along with ditching the web shooters.
>>
>>27018904

>She doesn't know the webbing is technological. In the normal Marvel universe most of his friends even thought it was natural.
This universe is about to tick up to superpowers. It hasn't yet. Her natural assumption would be all our tricks are technology or training (assuming she isn't some kind of superhuman herself).

It's actually really funny (and explains why she gave us her first kiss, assuming that was true) when you think about it. She probably thinks we're some kind of badass elite acrobat/ninja/gadgeteer who has trained his whole life, and has made his first appearance in order to capture her. Then, when she follows us, we not only respond mostly affirmatively and flirtatiously to her advances, but we also bring up the possibility of a heist on Oscorp.

For a woman like her, that's probably the sort of ridiculous fantasy you entertain in private moments but never dream of coming true. Gonna be a real let down for her when she finds out we're some high schooler who got superpowers by pure chance.

So no it does not count because people haven't been paying attention.

>>27019255
I think we should reduce our parker luck too, while we're at it.
>>
>>27019255
...Dude right now it's just to make it actually work right.

Otherwise we'd have to get more fabric, and maybe more mirrored lenses or whatever.

That doesn't grow on trees.
>>
>>27019273
Seems a little over complicated
anyways i vote for using a point
even with the +4 we will succeed
>>
>>27019234
Lets not waste a point on the costume of all things. We still have some excess parker luck to get rid of don't we?
>>
>>27019296
Eh, it'd work fine if tonight wasn't so slow.
>>
>>27019255
>For each point it increases, the Parker Luck will aid your major enemies. For example, if the villain is trying to find you loved ones or any other villainous schemes, they will have a bonus to their roll equal to your Parker Luck.

>they will have a bonus to their roll equal to your Parker Luck.

Since our chance for Parker Luck is *equal* to our chance for getting a spectacular point, *and* rerolling also gives you a point of Parker Luck, the best strategy is to hoard our Spectacular Points, and only use them to avoid major desasters, and keeping our Parker Luck as low as possible.
>>
>>27019310
we have enough to use on this roll and to reduce our parker luck to 0
>>
>>27019310
Eh, we're going to have to make the mask eventually, possibly sooner rather than later.

And it won't get any easier.
>>
>>27019320
Yeah, so? We will be earning Spectacular Points at around the same rate as Parker Luck. Since Parker Luck is *also* earned at the same time something bad happens, chances are that we might be spending TWO spectacular points when we roll a Nat 1.

Unless we roll a Nat 20 twice as a Nat 1, we should be saving all our luck to mearly undo our bad luck.
>>
>>27019354
*Nat 20 twice as often as a Nat 1
>>
>>27019354
That's... really boring.
>>
Regardless of that, can we agree to use a Spectacular Point to eliminate our current Parker Luck?
>>
>>27019354
wheres the fun in that?

>Seems like there's some arguing about the SP spending and there's not five for it.

the amount of people paying attention lowers for a second and this shit happens

Wow, I didn't even notice that.

M-maybe Parker Luck just serves as a way to slowly increase the game's difficulty as we level up?
>>
>>27019367
>>27019374
I didn't design the system, blame Cosgrove.
>>
>>27019354
We also eat Parker Luck for certain choices.
>>
>>27019384
Audience participation has slowed down appreciably.

Which makes Spectacular points... pretty hard to spend unless it's earlier in the night or during an action-packed quest.

>Mask
>DC20, result 17, FAILURE

You spend time trying to work on the mask- tracing out patterns, cutting them out, and then sewing. However… you didn’t do it righ.t you didn’t mess up your lenses, but there’s no way to wear that as a mask. You put it in a trash bag in the secret compartment before putting everything else away and mending the clothes you brought down.

You then make sure everything’s put away before heading upstairs to your room. You flop on the bed and try to study but…

Can we get some consensus to eliminate our current Parker Luck? Please?

I like this, let's keep it going.
>>
>>27019415
It's like in Bleach Quest, never using Crit Master III except as a second instance of Crit Master II.

I don't think that's the intended use of that perk.

I'll second this. Get that PL out of the way.

>You’re worried about how Gwen’s avoiding you
Either she's mad about us about showing up her dad or somehow saw us kissing Black Cat, and she decided the best way of dealing with that is the silent treatment,

Or the Phantom of Midtown High has got her too scared to be seen with a boyfriend.

Not every teenager is a slave to their genitals. Besides Peter knows how dangerous Oscorp is. So stop trying to say we should do something stupid, because 'muh teenage urges!'
>>
>>27019464
If she's mad about that, I don't think it's that we showed her dad up. It's that we acted like all we cared about was the money.
OR she has some serious self-esteem issues and thinks we were mocking her.
>>
>>27019440
I really don't see any reason why we shouldn't.

>[x]You’re worried about how Gwen’s avoiding you

You let out a sigh.

Gwen’s avoidance of you is really bothering you. Was it because her father looked bad after the whole thing with the Black Cat? Maybe because of that person who’s stalking her? Or, hell, maybe its because of the whole ‘Black Cat kissing you thing’ right after you confessed to her.

Oh god, what if she had been there following you? What if she saw? But your Spider-sense didn’t trigger. Can it even trigger for stuff like that?

Eventually, you just worry yourself to the point of exhaustion and decide to go to sleep.

PETER PARKER QUEST, ISSUE #11

To Be Continued.
