IN THE FUTURISTIC YEAR OF 2006, A BATTLE RAGES BETWEEN THE HEROBORGS AND THE CYBERZINES FOR THE FATE OF EARTH.

THE LEADER OF THE CYBERZINES, ANTI-STAR, SENDS HIS LEGIONS BACK IN TIME TO THE PRESENT DAY OF 1986 TO CHANGE THE TIME STREAM AND CEMENT HIS SUPREMACY IN THE FUTURE.

IT FALLS TO THE TIME WARRIORS, THREE TEENAGERS EMPOWERED BY THE MYSTICAL YOG-AZUL, TO FIGHT OFF THE INVASION AND SAVE ALL TIME.

FOREVER.

Well the last thread turned out better than I could have dreamed. We got fan art and a visit from the creator of Cartoon Action Hour!

Thread here:
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/26915927/

To continue from where we left off,

Our protagonists:
Jake: The Time Beast. Can summon the strength of any animal from any period in time.

Amanda:The Time Knight. Can summon the skill of any warrior from any period in time.

Karen: The Time Wizard. Can summon the wisdom of great scholars from any period in time.

There's been talk of them forming a TIME TITAN (TM), but so far we're still in the development stages.

Aiding them are three HeroBorgs:

Yuri: The Hoarfrost Hammer! Cybernetic enhancements to strength.

Toshi: The Digital Daimyo! Expert hacker and infiltrator.

Johnny Quick: The Fastest Gun Ever! Cybernetic eyes and hands allow perfect accuracy.

(cont.)
>>
There better be a moral or lesson at the end of this. Because knowing is half the battle.
>>
We desperately need a theme song, preferably pasted into each new thread. I can try writing one, but it will probably end up too corny. Yes, even for an 80s theme song.
>>
>>27023398
What's our tagline, by the way? I.e. What's written under TIME WARRIORS on all the toy packaging?
>>
>>27023398
Already covered in the previous thread.

THE EVIL CYBERZEEEEEEENNNSSS

>>
>>27023418
That's a good question. Some time-related pun, surely.
>>
>>27023486
Except it ought to be CYBERZIIIIIIINESSS because people settled on spelling villains' faction name as "Cyberzines".

>>27023418
Someone suggested "The Future Is Now" for the tagline, but I think there's room to change that.
>>
So what do we do in this thread? Seems we already have a sound foundation. So are we supposed to come up with more characters (i.e. More toys) or episode ideas (adventures)? Because I could write up some plot synopses, that seems fun.
>>
>>27023497
Someone also suggested swapping a drum solo for a keytar or guitar solo. Maybe have a big power chord or something instead of the final drum solo.

>>27023551
I think the cast so far is pretty good, though we could use more names and profiles for the villains -- mention was made of some kind of evil human corporation in addition to the Cyberzines -- and of course, feel free to come up with more toys, I mean, side characters to flesh out the world. Plot synopses are also good.
>>
>>27023493
"Just in time"? It's in the theme song, and gets across the time travelling crime fighters part. OOH, I got one! JUSTICE IN
TIME!
>>
Which one of the kids is the token black character?
>>
I wanna write some episodes. What's the structure of this show: do the kids travel in time to stop evil, or is the bad guys bringing bad stuff like dinosaurs and pirates to the 80s? Or is it both?
>>
>>27023719

I think it's both.

>
The second season could take place in several timelines, as the TIME WARS heat up. The team will have to confront the Cyberzines in the prehistoric age (obligatory DinoBorgs with giant enemy laser-breathing T-Rex), the middle ages (where Merlin and King Arthur assist the Time Team, and Lancelot gets a cyber-upgrade to battle the wicked robot-witch Morgana, sent by Anti-Star to steal the power of Excalibur), and of course THE NEAR FUTURE, 2006. Where Anti-Star rules and pockets of resisting HeroBorgs fight a war of attrition. This timeline in particular allows for introducing a lot of action figure HeroBorg characters. And a base.
>>
>>27023625
The HeroBorgs are Russian (Yuri, calls everyone "Comrade"), Japanese (Toshi, adds "-san" to everyone's name), and Texan (Johnny Quick). The three teens (and Billy, the older brother of one of the characters and sitter/supervisor of all three -- which is why they were all outside and together when the Time Warriors turned up in 1986) were specified as white, but that's pretty up in the air. In later seasons, when more focus is placed on the future, we see more of the HeroBorgs and, because they're from the distant future of 2006, they're a pretty diverse bunch.

>>27023719
Early on, everyone is stuck in 1986. Anti-Star sometimes uses his portal machine to send reinforcements, but for the most part the action is at the kids' home time. In later seasons, it can be a free-for-all (to justify selling toys like "Yoshi in Samurai Costume" and such).

Thread seems kinda dead already, but here's an episode idea:

Title: "Don't count your moas..."

Plot synopsis: Goremand, a mad Cyberzine chef with a desire to find the rarest, most exotic creatures in history and turn them into dishes for his depraved five star resturant, has gone back in time to 14th century New Zealand to grab the eggs of the enormous moa bird for his ominous omelets!
The Time Warriors must go back in time to put an end to this fowl plan, and take moa off the menu!

Important scenes, events and perils:

>"Ew! Something stinks here, and it's not just your jokes!"
Most of the episode takes place in a volcanic swamp. In addition to smelling like rotten eggs, there's quicksand and sinkholes everywhere, which are constant dangers without a guide.

>"-Humans found New Zeeland sometime before the 14th century.
"-And now they've found us!"
There's a tribe of local humans who aren't too happy about time travelers. They are dangerous enemies, but if the heroes manage to impress or reason with them, they can make useful allies.

>"Holy Holstein, this bird is bucking like a bronco!"
The moa birds are huge, but not interested in eating humans. They can be tamed (probably by Johnny Quick) and ridden.

>"Boss, this eggs a lot smaller than the others."
A particularly dumb evil henchman has accidentally poached an egg from the nest of a Haast's eagle (the largest flying raptor in history!), and mommy isn't thrilled. The massive eagle will try to attack the heroes at some point in it's attempt to get back it's egg, but can also be turned against the bad guys if they can convince it that they're the ones that stole the egg.

>"Uh-oh, did someone check the expiration date on the eggs?"
During the final battle, the eggs start to hatch, unleashing hungry moa chicks!
>>
So if the "main characters" are already decided, doesn't that mean the players can't make their own characters?

Also, where is the annoying comical relief?

There's also a need for one of two evil henchmen that are so incredibly stupid and clumsy that it becomes a plot device. As in, they mess up the bad guy's plans, making the situation much worse or giving the heroes a chance to stop them.
>>
>>27024573
The whole show idea got kicked off based on Cartoon Action Hour, where the point is you make up your own show, characters, and setting. We basically did that. The game is based on '80s cartoons, so there is certainly incentive to make more toys, I mean, more characters. Anti-Star is pretty much "the" big bad, but he's stuck in 2006, so he pretty much delegates everything to the lieutenants, and similarly, the HeroBorgs have resistance cells all over the place. We've made up a few iconic characters, but there's always room for more.
>>
I'm not familiar with Cartoon Action Hour: how would the "gets the power of any X from history" powers work crunchwise, without becoming a "WIN GAME" button?
>>
>>27024681
Maybe there's a limit -- displacing something from its "proper" time takes a lot of energy, so there can be a trade-off between how far the heroes can "reach" and how long they can keep it around.

This would make a nice plot point in the first battle -- Jake summons a T-Rex, but it poofs out after less than a minute, leaving him high and dry.

Actually, it might literally leave him "high" if he was riding it, and then he gets a second to flail around in the air before falling and landing on his backside. (You know how these cartoons always work.)

Given these (or similar) limitations on their powers, let's also not forget the kids' mundane skills. Karen's good with "1980s cartoon computers" (think WarGames; also, she's better than Toshi, whose experience is largely limited to shiny 2006 technology), Jake (and big brother Billy) owns the dog containing the spirit of the star alien opposing Anti-Star and is probably generally athletic, and Amanda...martial artist?
>>
>>27024537
Details on Goremand (the name might be too violent for target audience, but I can't think of any good cooking-related puns):
He's a morbidly obese, blueskinned cyborg with a chef's hat and an outrageous French accent. His weapon of choice is a gigantic whisk that's replaced his left arm, but also an oversized gun shaped like a meatgrinder, that shoots various (evil) food.

Is completely obsessed with food, and considers himself the greatest gastronomic genius in all of history. Because of this, he has often tried to go back in time to eliminate the inventors of popular foods, so that none may surpass him. He is also a total glutton, which often becomes his undoing as he can be easily distracted and baited with food.
>>
>>27024791
*Goremet. See, the name's so bad I can't even remember it.
>>
>>27024799
Well, "gourmand" is a real word for someone who has a fancy palate (or at least fancies him- or herself so), so "Goremand" isn't bad (not any worse than Goremet, anyway).
>>
>>27024832
Actually, a gourmet is someone who loves fine, quality food. A gourmand, on the other hand, is someone who loves food in large quantities. Unlike the picky gourmet, a gourmand doesn't really care what he's eating as long as there's a lot of it. It's a huge difference, even if the words are very similar.
>>
Guy who pitched the original idea here. Fuck yeah OP, this is awesome.
>>
Hey guys, I'm really sorry. My Internet blew up for an hour or so.

Reading through the posts now. Looks good so far!
>>
If the makers of CAH knows about this series, is there a chance it could become one of the stock example series in the game? Because that would be pretty damn awesome, and it's already more inventive than most of the ones that are already there.
>>
>>27024916
Actually, half the posts are just me. Seems /tg/ hasn't woken up yet.
>>
>>27024900
What did you pitch?

>>27024975
Hey, that's fine with me.
>>
>>27024681
By limiting the Traits to very specific actions. It's a fun game to run, but it does require that everyone be on board.
>>
>>27024998
Derp, I'm sorry. >>27024900 you're awesome.
>>
>>27024791
This fits pretty well! No one said we can't have funny characters, and big fat scary guys were pretty standard fare as far as 80's cartoons went.
>>
>>27025026
Well, if the traits are limited, maybe it wasn't a good idea to literally let the heroes to literally get any ability, skill or knowledge they need? Although one drawback could be that it must be a person or creature that they've actually met in real life. Although that could turn it into Pokémon: History Edition. It's hard to get something that works in a cartoon to work in a rpg.
Seriously though, the heroes need some weaknesses, to make it easier to challenge them, and encourage teamwork.
>>
>>27024884
Thanks for the clarification.

In that case, I think that "Goremet" is an easier pun to understand, but it sounds cornier -- "Goremand" at least has a sufficiently dramatic ring ("Aha, you are een zee pre-zahnse of zee mahghty GORE-MAHND!" vs. "GORE-MAY!"). And it sounds like the cyborg in question is a bit of a glutton anyway.

>>27024938
Somebody calling herself Cynthia Celeste Miller popped in at the end of the first Time Warriors thread and said she liked what was there. Not exactly a statement of intention to use it, but it's nice to know that we did a good job capturing the "feel" of the game.
>>
>>27025070
If anything, I think this setting needs many more silly characters to feel like an 80s cartoons. Right now, it's a bit too serious and 90s to fit the tone, if you ask me. Not saying it should super duper wacky all the time, of course. But it's just not cartoony enough without some delicious cheesiness.
>>
>>27025093
Sure. No one said they were omnipotent.

There's three of them because they play off each other's strengths. When they join together to form the Time Titan, their strengths are increased.

Something a bit more grounded wouldn't be out of place, so long as it fits with the theme.
>>
>>27025153
I agree, although if you look back at He-Man or Transformers, there were some fairly serious characters running around. The theme and absolute prohibition on violence, gore, blood, and endangering children elicited the feel I think you're referring to.

And there's plenty of room for a 90's "Gargoyles" moment in the subsequent seasons.
>>
>>27025103
Style over substance is the name of the game here. I do like the idea!
>>
>>27025204
*The theme of optimism

My fault.
>>
>>27025103
I'm conflicted. Goremand is more villainous, but Coremet is more corny. And I *like* corny. Goremand rolls off the tongue better, though.

I dunno man.

I kind of like this whole '80s cartoon vibe with strange undercurrents.

Hell, I fucking suggested using an "Cthulhuian entity" as the mentor of the kids.

Not to make it edgy, but to make it more compelling, make it reach not just to the deep past, but also the past that's closer home.

Gives a richer picture. A picture that you recognize but can't place.
>>
>>27025286
He calls himself Goremet, everyone calls him Goremand.

The kids can defeat him by brute force, but it's easier to simply get him pissed by calling him Goremet.
>>
>>27025510
>but it's easier to simply get him pissed by calling him Goremand.

My bad.
>>
>>27023592
Carlos!
>>
>>27025464
I like the idea of their mentor/boss being "outside of time". Maybe he's so used of seeing time as a "big picture" that he gets things a bit mixed up and muddled.
>"1986 AD, 1986 BC, same difference. It's just 3972 years
between them, that's almost nothing."

>>27025510
>He calls himself Goremet, everyone calls him Goremand.

This, I like. It opens up for a lot of bickering between the villains, and fits my idea of Goremet as having a bloated ego, believing himself to be much more important and famous than anyone else.

You wouldn't be able to defeat him just by saying his name wrong, but it still gets on his nerves.
His main weaknesses are his inflated ego, and his extreme gluttony. He's even willing to risk the success of his or his bosses' plans if he thinks he can get his grubby, metallic hand on some rare ingredient or recipe.
>>
>>27024537
Any thoughts on my episode? Not enough lasers?

Most of my ideas involve more obscure creatures, eras and people than the usual "Roman times, dinosaurs, Leonardo da Vinci". Not saying there's anything wrong with the staples, but I see this as a chance to explore things you usually don't see in time travel stories.
>>
>>27025464
That's what I was thinking as well.

Sort of like going back and examining He-Man or Inhumanoids. Camp aside, there were some pretty disturbing implications.

>>27025823
I like Pleistocene megafauna! All those rhinoceroses with weird horns and giant land mammals with big ass claws.

Like Dino Riders, but with sloths.
>>
>>27025756
I do like the bloated ego bit.

If the characters get his name wrong, he'll just tack it up to them being morons.

"Eet iz GOREMAND, plebian swine!"
>>
>>27025896
The same scenario could be done with dinosaurs instead, but then you can't have angry tribesmen, and it's less exotic.

Further ideas for episodes involving Goremet:
>The Cyberzines have acquired a powerful glue gun, that fires extremely strong goo that traps everyone it hits in a sticky trap. Analysis reveals that the goo's molecular structure is almost identical to... peanut butter? The only way to stop this weapon is to go back 19th century Canada to stop the Goremet from stealing and modifying Marcellus Gilmore Edson's original peanut butter recipe!
>>
>>27025985
>"Eet iz GORMET, plebian swine!"

Hate to be a nitpick, but the joke doesn't really make sense the other way around. But you got the idea.

>>27026085

You want to do dinosaurs with a twist?

The kids are chasing the forces of Anti-Star, because Anti-Star discovered an crashed alien ship in the prehistory.

Yog-Azur gives the wrong date however, and the kids end up in the Devonian. And the forces of Anti-Star are... in the Permian, like 250 million years in the future. You see the kids look at some walking fish and some of the first bugs, but they can't find Anti-Star's troops, and return to the present. Jake talks about how the Devonian and the Permian aren't as cool as the Mesozoic era because dinosaurs were like totally weird and big and deadly.

When the kids finally return from the Devonian to their own timeperiod, to jump back to the Permian, they're faced with an environmentally destroyed Earth, covered in giant skyscrapers, while alien machines fly through the toxic air... And the Moon... is Anti-Star. The Moon has been replaced by a Moon-sized supercomputer body for Anti-Star.

Luckily the kids get to the Permian... only to be faced by a massive horde of cybernetic reptile-lizards and Anti-Star forces, all armed with that advanced alien technology.
Just when all seems lost, Yog-Azur asks Jake if he was sure about Dinosaurs being awesome. Jake replies with yes, and Yog-Azur's dog-form jumps between the kids and the army of Anti-Star, and yells "I'm the Gate!" and he disappears... and a blue vortex opens...

A great flood of azure-coloured dinosaurs pour out of the vortex and destroy the Anti-Star forces, and the dinosaurs disappear as soon as the Anti-Star forces are defeated.

But Yog-Azur isn't returning.

>as per Lovecraftian mythos, an Elder God Thingie must always sleep after using a significant power
>of course, the kids don't know that, so you could have one of those episodes where the kids are getting all sad because they think their mentor is dead.
>>
>>27026149
A Mountie on a jetbike. He's extremely polite, of course, but is a good shot with his stun gun. Bickers with Johnny Quick, but when it comes down to it they're really good friends. Even if neither of them would ever admit it.
>>
>>27026161
>cybernetic reptile-lizards

That should be reptile-mammals. The Permian era was the age of the reptile-mammals.
>>
>>27026161
For a finale episode, sure.
>>
>>27026199
I should also add:

The initial HeroBorgs come through the same portal as Anti-Star's forces.

How do the other HeroBorgs come in?
>>
>>27026199
And he makes some great pancakes with maple syrup. He needs a name, though.
>>
>>27026237
Maybe some come by accident, when they're chasing after Anti-Star and his goons? Others can come back willingly, using stolen technology.
>>
>>27026254

Monte?

Which is pronounced as Mountie.
>>
>>27026274
Maybe.

LIke the portal or whatever means Anti-Star's using for temporal transport isn't stable and deposits Cyberzines and HeroBorgs randomly throughout time and space?

Kind of like Transformers in that there was a steady stream of refugees or whatnot throughout the series.
>>
>>27026254
Also should mention he has a full, well-groomed mustache.
>>
>>27026237
Could be anything really. Future time-travel experiments, human resistance fighters sending out Terminators to protect the kids. Maybe some unlucky idiots who fall into time rips...

Hell, have one episode where two humans from the year 1,000,000,000 AD show up.

Except they're like Goku and Vegeta. Nah, more like Vegeta and Vegeta.

Two human cyborgs so powerful, so mighty, that the kids must perform a banishment of the two human cyborgs with Yog-Azur.

>the joke being, you banish outsiders
>you don't banish humans with the help of outsiders
>>
>>27026297
Monte, but Johnny Quick calls him "Mountie" to get under his skin.

He rides a jetbike alongside Johnnie's chrome horse and they trade verbal jabs whilst trading real ones with Cyberzines.

>>
>>27026590

>>
>>27026385
Karen's 12, pardner. Feels like a big brother to her, maybe.

Unless they know each other in the future (not impossible, as she's the tech expert -- 32-year-old Karen might well be a major figure in the development of technology between 1986 and 2006).

>>27026360
The horse is called Silver by most everyone who sees him, despite actually being made of a crome-plated titanium alloy. I'm not sure if this should piss off Johnny, the horse, or both.
>>
>>27026681
Ah. Well so much for that idea.

I would think calling the horse Silver would be Johnny's idea, so I don't think he would be all too upset at the praise.
>>
>>27026323
I suggest Johnny should call him "Monty", it sounds more like a disrespectful nickname.
"It's Monte, you crude chrome cowboy!"

Monte is polite, methodical and feels it's important to always do things "by the book". In other words, Johnny's opposite. Still, they do have more in common than they would want to admit (sense of justice, both excellent riders and gunslingers, even if Monte prefers his trusty stun ray rather than twin laserpistols.
>>
>>27026681
>32-year-old Karen might well be a major figure in the development of technology between 1986 and 2006

This gets me thinking:

Should the kids be the children of some Dr. Benton Quest analogue? Someone who's interested in creating cybernetic enhancements for the weak or wounded?
>>
>>27026719
>Should the kids be the children of some Dr. Benton Quest analogue? Someone who's interested in creating cybernetic enhancements for the weak or wounded?

Personally, I like the kids' parents as background characters that only appear in "who wants cookies?" scenes, but then again, having Karen's dad be a scientist working on the Big Computer Project that everyone's after might be cool.
>>
>>27026719
I think only Jake and Billy are siblings; the others are probably neighbors and/or childhood friends.

If Karen's parents work for a technology company, that might be how she gets her expertise and a young age.

Mention was made in the last thread about a company attempting to duplicate Cyberzine technology. Whether that is the same company as this hypothetical parent or not, that company would provide an incentive for the kids to keep their friends out of the public eye as much as possible.
>>
>>27027958
>Mention was made in the last thread about a company attempting to duplicate Cyberzine technology. Whether that is the same company as this hypothetical parent or not, that company would provide an incentive for the kids to keep their friends out of the public eye as much as possible.

If the company is the one producing the supercomputer that may or may not turn into an evil AI in 2006, having them bootstrap with captured future technology is a pretty Terminator thing.

I can't tell if that's bad or not.
>>
>>27028172
Well, Terminator came out in 1984, so it's not impossible for there to be some influence there, but on the other hand, if they did that, everyone would sneer at them for ripping off Terminator.

In any case, I suspect that 1986 manufacturing technology is not sufficient to duplicate real-world 2006 technology, let alone shiny-future-2006 technology, so they probably would fail.
>>
>>27027958
The company duplicating Cyberzine tech was also the one that created the Scrappers, which were crude simulacrums of Cyberzines that may or may not become heroes at one point.

Also, I'm sorry it took so long. Grandpa's in the hospital, had to go. He's fine.

>>
>>27030214
Here's where we're at so far:

While Anti-Star has the capability to send his forces back in time, he does not have the capability to close the time portal. This allows the HeroBorgs to infiltrate or outright battle their way to the portal and come to the past (or the future).

The Time Warriors, our trio of teens, are young and inexperienced. They rely on Yazz to tutor them in the use of their powers and on their three HeroBorg mentors to learn responsibility ("Abusing that kind of power is why we're here in the first place, comrades!").

There are humans who know of the Cyberzine incursion. Unfortunately, Anti-Star's designs have elected only the vilest, crudest, and greediest of humans to aid him in his goals. He provides these humans with cybernetic enhancements to make them more capable combatants against the HeroBorgs.

(this is something I was playing around with last thread)
The impromptu "leader" of the Cyberzines in 1986 is a brash, impetuous cyborg known as Hunter-Killer. Hunter-Killer is planning to sew the seeds of his own dominance in the past to usurp Anti-Star in the future. The other Cyberzine leaders (to be created) distrust Hunter-Killer and generally regard him a fop and a nuisance.
>>
>>27030334
>Hunter-Killer is planning to sew the seeds
fyi it's "sow", as in plant them in the field.
>>
>>27030383
I am ashamed.

I must commit sudoku.
>>
>>27030404
Nah, it's cool. Everybody does that.

>Unfortunately, Anti-Star's designs have elected only the vilest, crudest, and greediest of humans to aid him in his goals. He provides these humans with cybernetic enhancements to make them more capable combatants against the HeroBorgs.

Really digging this descrip.

Editing text is my day job. It grinds on me harder because I know I should know better.

I thought of that anon's description of Gourmet and figured that would be the best way to describe it.

Let's get some Cyberzines out here. Gourmet is a good start, I think.

I feel like the Cyberzines need a token hot evil chick to create confusion at age 6 and drive the creation of rule 34 at age 26.

LIVESHOT

She was once a famous TV reporter with a sweet-as-sugar on-air personality, but in real life she was cruel, ruthless, and malicious. She found out about the hidden war going on and fell in with the Cyberzines.

She has TV news-themed cyberwear, like a camcorder-laser. Also, she is used for surveillance all the time, where she wears enough clothing to cover up her cyborgization but the viewers can still see cameras or other recording equipment sticking out.

Ooh, I like it. Maybe CLOSEUP instead of LIVESHOT?
>>
>>27030881
Works for me.
>>
>>27030881
BOMBARD

Basically a giant walking cannon. Resident heavy weapons guy for the Cyberzine forces and all around butt monkey. Usually the first to fall, Bombard's cannon is ineffective at short ranges and requires a good amount of time to recharge. Needless to say, he prefers ambush tactics to straight out combat.
>>
Also, just coming out against the TIME TITAN idea. At least for this season.

>Usually the first to fall, Bombard's cannon is ineffective at short ranges and requires a good amount of time to recharge.

You gotta admit he has the sweetest toy, though.

I'm easy. What about it don't you like?

Those Scrappers from the last thread are really compelling, by the way. If you're around, Scrapper Anon, you're a cool guy/gal.

SLIZARD

A master spy with chameleonic skin and holographic eyes (buy the toys, buy the toys). Slizard is the all-around infiltrator and task master of the Cyberzine forces. His quiet exterior and brutal tactics have made him one of Anti-Star's most trusted lieutenants.

All the useless characters had the best toys.

Starscream, Skeletor, Waspinator, Fisto, you name it.

>What about it don't you like?
I just feel like the focus should be on the kids using their time powers for their themes, and the idea of combining into a gestalt feels a little shoehorned in because of /tg/'s inherent love of combining mecha shows.
>>
>>27031022
That's fair. I think we've got plenty of room to develop new characters without too much of the focus being on the Trio.

Plus I doubt many people will want to play as those fumbling teens.

JACKBOOT

The most horrible sound to the HeroBorgs in 2006 were the shrieking jumps of the psychotic JACKBOOT. Empowered by incredibly strong legs and kinetic-hammers in his feet, JACKBOOT loves dropping in uninvited!

Sleazester
An ex-car salesman that had a knack for scamming people even when he wasn't enhanced, after aligning with the Cyberzines, he was gifted with augments to his voicebox to lace his words with subliminal messages to convince anyone to do as he asks.

He usually dresses in garish suits and sunglasses with slicked back 80's business man hair.

...oh also he has a literal silver tongue.
>>
>>27031267
Lots of play with that one, I think.

He and Liveshot could be unwilling(?) allies, trying to one up the other with greater acts of deception.

And he'd be voiced by Jim Cummings.
>>
>>27031364
I've got this mental image of a sewage worker that's been cyborgized with lots of pipes and maybe a drain on his chest, so kids can fill up his torso with water and then press a pump to make him spray it all over the HeroBorgs.

But I can't think of a name.
>>
>>27031553
Also, he's really big. Not quite as big as Gourmet, but close.
>>
>>27031553
Sump?
Runoff?
>>
>>27031621
RUNOFF

That is perfect.
>>
>>27031641
And to complement it, he could be the first Cyberzine to retreat most of the time.
>>
>>27031647
He almost has to. Once he's out of water, he's kind of useless.

Definitely an underwater type of guy. Streams pollutants into the oceans or something.
>>
>>27031695
>Once he's out of water, he's kind of useless.
Oh man, that's a great dramatic weakness.
>>
Well I've got to run.

See you guys!

Later TM! Thanks for keeping everything on track!
