Just caught up to the present on the archives. Archelon delivers! So who won and who lost? Reinhold was clearly kicking Monique's ass. And then the sword gets pulled and he does much worse (as expected). Then magic ice bullshit that has very little to do with swordplay happens, but despite all of that he still manages to break all of Monique's ribs with the ice club. It's made clear at the end that Monique sword was buffing him up, probably for the entire fight given how he basically ignored his sword wounds. But at the very least blocking the pain from his broken ribs. This is in clear violation of the rules which dictate that magic can only be used to attack.Now technically Reinhold lost by knockout, but the fight wouldn't have even reached that point if Monique had succumbed to the spine hit. And if the referee actually knew what was going on he would have disqualified Monique for use of magic when he got up, and Reinhold would have won either way at that point. So Reinhold lost (in the end), but Monique was clearly cheating from the point he pulled out a magic sword, and even disqualified himself by his own cited rules.In Olympic sports if someone gets the gold and fails a drug test, the first place title doesn't just evaporate. But of course this is a duel and not a tournament, and the prize is limited to satisfaction and the adoration of the crowd. In that regard Monique is probably screwed, especially after he admitted to cheating in front of the entire arena. (thank you sound amplification magic!).
