And your dialogue tags are something you should watch. You tend to reuse the same ones too frequently. Don't be afraid of just using 'said' and using the incidental verbs and adverbs to get across the method of speaking.
I don't believe in the policy, but there is some good advice about describing dialogue such that you don't need to rely on the tags all the time.
