"Soooo..." I turn to Theresa. "You too?"
"Huh?" she lifts her head up from her pillow and faces me. "What do you mean, I don-"

And then she falls right back on her pillow and starts covering her face with her hands.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry," Theresa mumbles. "I started feeling woozy and you tried to catch me but you weren't able to hold me up because I'm getting fat and I ended up getting you hurt too..."

Huh? Fat?

It's true that Theresa's not super skinny anymore like she used to be, but I've seen her in gym class and she is most definitely not fat. I mean, I wish I had abs like that!

"It wasn't your fault," I shake my head. "And you're not fat, I just screwed up with my footing. That's all."
"But still," Theresa buries her face in her hands. "You tried to help me and ended up getting hurt yourself!" she groans. "Everything's been so weird ever since last night, I wish I never read that stupid thing!"

Wait. Her and Mina have pretty much the exact same tastes, so does that mean that she found that scam site and bought a copy of that book before it disappeared too?

If she did and what happened was that "synapse" thing that Irene was talking about, then that means-

"Hey Theresa, you ever heard of something called a 'Synapse'?" I ask.
"Huh?" she takes her hands off of her face. "What, like nerve connections in your brain?"
"That's not what I meant," I shake my head. "On the way to school, I had the exact same kind of fainting spell that you had and that's what the person who I was with told me that it was called."

I'll just leave out the part about using Irene's lap as a pillow.

"You too?" Theresa turns to me. "Ugh... I don't even know what's going on anymore," she sighs. "I got this book in that I ordered last night, and I can't remember anything that happened from the time I started reading it to when I woke up this morning, and I've had a really bad headache this entire time..."
"Umm, do your eyes hurt too?" I ask.
"No, thank God," she shakes her head. "I don't think I could handle eye pain on top of everything else."

Suddenly, Theresa looks really sad.

"Heh..." she closes her eyes. "Of course she found the same link... did she read it too?"
"No, only me," I shrug. "I told her that I was going to read it first as payback for not asking before having weird stuff like that shipped to my house, it's actually over there in my backpack," I say, pointing to the backpack that's leaning next to the bed that I'm sitting on.

Theresa's still pretty shaken up, I should probably hold off on telling her about Irene.

"I'll talk to you about that later," I say.
"Umm... okay," Theresa nods.
"Oh yeah," I snap my fingers. "So that book's supposed to give you superpowers or something, right?"
"Yeah, that's what the site said before it was taken down," she replies. "Unlock the potential of the human mind and branch out into the unknown... I have no idea why I spent all that money on the stupid thing, " she sighs. "I tried reading it again when I woke up this morning since I couldn't remember anything from when I read it the first time, and it was all complete nonsense!"
"Huh?"

"...I see..."

This is starting to get kind of creepy. Well, creepier than it already was.

"So about what I asked before," I say, "have you noticed anything weird since you read it?"
"What, like developing those alleged superpowers?" Theresa asks. "No, nothing aside from headaches and fainting spells," she mumbles.

"Heh, sure."

Well at least she's feeling more or less normal, that's definitely a relief. So much for those superpowers that Irene was talking about...

I once had a teacher who made a strategy game where we all played as different shoguns in Japan. We could even assassinate each other and shit.

Unfortunately, on the day that we were supposed to play it, I caught the flu and couldn't go to school. He never played it again, and he left the school the next year to go somewhere else.
>>
>>32643811

If that were the case then they would probably not bother looking for the book. A book that gives one person powers isn't that dangerous. A book that gives anyone who reads it powers is crazy dangerous.
>>
so can we list off our favorite teacher's regardless of class? mine was my college physics teacher. our final project was to build a catapult/trebuchet that could launch a basket ball 15 meters using nothing but weights. i never got to see how far mine went since it was deemed to dangerous. most people were using two by fours or fence boards, i used a telephone pole and I beams

>>
...well, it's not like I really -want- to go to class, and it's already half over as it is... not to mention that I'd feel kind of bad just leaving Theresa here by herself.

Yeah, I'll stick around until the end of first period at least.

"So how'd you even find out about the book to start with?" I ask. "Mina said that the site vanished like right after she placed her order, so it couldn't have been around for very long."
"I was hanging around in an IRC room for a game that I pay online, and someone popped on with that link," Theresa says. "I checked it out and it looked interesting so I placed an order... but then like you said, it vanished right after I got the shipping notice," she shrugs.
"Huh."

I'm really starting to get curious about what happened to cause them to have such a bad falling out, but that would probably only serve to make her more depressed about it.

Umm, I should probably try to change the subject. Yeah.

"Is your head feeling better?" I ask.
"It's only a dull pain now, so I guess..." Theresa sighs. "Sorry for dragging you into this and making you miss class, Cecile."
"You wouldn't have fainted if I hadn't tried to say hi to begin with, so it's technically my own fault," I reply, waving my hands dismissively. "And I got a legitimate excuse to miss that boring BORING class, so don't beat yourself up over it."
"If you say so..."

Me and Theresa spend the rest of first period talking about class and catching up, I do my best not to bring up anything that would upset her. Time flies by pretty quickly, and before I know it, the bell signifying the end of the period rings...

We have different classes now, so I guess this is where we part ways.

"Yeah, I guess," Theresa mumbles. "A- and, umm... sorry again for making you hit your head."
"Seriously, quit worrying about that, it's not like I'm mad."

Waving goodbye, I head in the opposite direction from Theresa's next class...

...but before I can get very far, a certain someone practically charges into me..

"Cecile!" Mina shouts, grabbing me by both hands. "I heard that you fainted, are you okay!? You didn't get a concussion, did you!?"

As per the usual, me and Mina make our way to the library and sit down at the corner table closest to the window. And now for food...

"Did you actually bring something for lunch today, or were you just hoping to mooch off of me again?" Mina asks.
"I'll have you know," I say as I reach into the outer portion of my backpack, "that I went through the trouble of getting a chicken biscuit from-"

And then I pull it out.

And I see what I just pulled out.

"...uh, that doesn't look edible," Mina says, doing her est not to laugh at the sad sad SAD sight that is in my hands.

My poor chicken biscuit, it was smashed to bits inside its wrapper.

My poor lunch...

"It... it might look horrible right now, but it should still taste the same," I say as I assemble the remains of the smashed-up biscuit in my hand and down the entire thing at once.

This was a bad idea, it's all I can do to force the thing down. Even though it didn't taste bad at all, trying to swallow an entire balled-up mass at once is a real struggle.

"Dammit..." Mina sighs. "Here, you can have this too," she says as she hands me half of her sandwich.
"You are too kind to meeee!"

Ah, presentation really doea make a difference!

With the two of us eating a share of food meant for one person, it runs out pretty fast. And now that we're done eating, there isn't much left to do but talk...

"So, umm," Mina turns to me, "did something happen to you since the last time I saw you?"
"Huh?"
"You fainted at before school started and your eyes are a different color... don't you think that's something to worry about?"

I hate being put on the spot like this.

But I -did- kind of hand the book over to Mina, and she should at least know what she's getting into if she actually decides to read it. I sure as hell wish that I had a heads-up before I was thrown into the world of headaches fainting spells...

"Well," I sigh, "my eyes and the fainting spells and all that were because of the book that you bought."
"What?" Mina stares at me.
"I read it. Last night. And I ended up blacking out until early this morning. I woke up with a really bad headache, and my yes were hurting pretty bad too for a while there... I guess they changed color too."

Mina's staring at me like I just went nuts. I can't really blame her.

"...you're just messing with me, right?" Mina says, laughing nervously. "You're still pissed that I had it sent to your house without asking first, and now you're trying to make me look stupid."
"I'm the one who looks retarded here saying all this stuff," I roll my eyes, "why would I be making it up?"

Yes I like playing pranks on her sometimes, but I'd never go THIS far just for a cheap laugh.

"Anyways..." I mumble, "assuming that you decide to read it at all, save it until after you get home. I blacked out for like fourteen hours after I started reading it, and I really don't think you want that to happen to you here in school."
"Rearranging the pathways to foster a new consciousness..." Mina closes her eyes. "It's just like the site said..."

"No," I shake my head. "Like I said, this girl saved me before things got really bad... and when she was helping me up, I looked into her eyes and got a horrible headache that was so bad it made me faint."
"And this -before- you fainted here at school?" she asks.

"Her name's Irene," I say, "and she told me that my fainting spell was something called a 'Synapse.' It happens when two people with psychic power or whatever meet," I shrug.
"What, so she read the book too?" Mina asks.
"No, she said something about getting her powers from someone called a 'Gardener,'" I shake my head. "Anyways, she answered some questions that I had and explained that she was sent here to find out who had that book right there..."
"You didn't tell her that you had it, right?" Mina whispers.

She looks REALLY scared right now.

"No, I didn't think it would be right to give away something that you paid so much money for," I say, shaking my head. "But she gave me her number and told me to call if I had any questions about powers or I guess if I found the book, and-"
"No," Mina looks at me with a deadly serious expression on her face. "You said that she was 'sent' by someone to find the book, what if that's connected to why the site that I got it from disappeared!?"
"Uh..."

To be honest, that thought hadn't crossed my mind at all.

"Don't call her, don't talk to her, play dumb if she asks yo any questions," Mina says. "This is probably some MIB shit, secret underground psychic wars or something!"

Mina does sound kind of crazy right now, but I guess she does kind of have a point. Better safe than sorry.

"I guess you are right in that I shouldn't completely trust her just yet," I say, "but she -is- pretty much the only person I've met so far who actually knows about this stuff. I dunno if it's a smart move to just completely cut her off, you know?"
"Yeah, that does make sense," Mina sighs. "Just... don't tell her anything important if you do end up calling her, okay? And whatever you do, don't mention that you've ever had anything to do with the book. Who knows what'll happen if she finds out that you're connected to it."
"Sure thing," I nod.

Wow, Mina's surprisingly on top of this.

...and then I realize that she's probably been dreaming of a situation like this since she was a little girl.

"I'm in posession of a dangerous artifact that a secret organization is searching for..." Mina says, bowing her head.

Yup, she's definitely enjoying this.

>[1/?]
>>
>>32649897

"So... what kind of powers did the book give you?" Mina asks. "Telepathy? Telekinesis? Pyrokinesis!?"

She's getting really excited.

"Nothing like that," I shake my head. "The only thing that's happened so far is that my eyes changed color and I can see weird markings on flowers and stuff," I shrug.
"That's all?" Mina asks with a REALLY disappointed look on her face.
"Yeah, but Irene said that my powers or whatever might still be developing or something..."
"Hm." she nods. "We're gonna need to do some experiments with that..."

I don't like the way that sounds AT ALL.

>[2/4]

>>32650023

"Umm, one more thing," I say.
"Hm?" Mina snaps out of la-la land and turns to me.
"When I came to school this morning, I ran into Theresa... and we had that Synapse thing."
"...what."

She does NOT look happy right now.

"Umm, yeah," I nod. "It turns out that she bought a copy of the book too, and read it just like I did."
"Theresa? fucking THERESA!?" Mina shouts, and is immediately shushed by the librarian.

I forgot where we were for a minute there.

"D... dammit," Mina growls, "why the hell did SHE have to get involved with this, of all people..."
"C'mon, it's not that bad," I pat her on the back.
"Did you tell her what you told me?" she asks.
"I told her that I read the book, and that you were the one who bought it," I reply. "That's all."

"I'm gonna be busy after school today," Mina says as we're leaving the library, "but tomorrow's Saturday and I'm don't have any plans... you wanna hang out and maybe figure out what exactly your 'Branch' or whatever is?"

The rest of the school day goes by pretty peacefully... aside from Mina giving Theresa the evil eye every few minutes during math. But luckily, there aren't any fights or anything.

And my head only started hurting a little bit when I saw Theresa again, so I guess that Synapse thing is calming down too. It would really suck to have super death-migraines every time I passed her in the halls, after all.

"Thia is goodbye for today," Mina says as the two of us make our way to the front of the school. "Just give me a call before you come over tomorrow so I can make sure that I'm dressed and all that."

>And when they lose their own, Slaanesh grants them peace in perhaps eternal self-confidence and the ability to seduce with sexywords

That is exactly what a Magical Realmsman would think. You understand the enemy, well done.

You should see the succubus and premature ejaculation fetish settings.

Wow, we got some smooth moves.
>>
>>32651033
I like you
>>
>>32651016
>and I don't want to risk walking in on them fucking in the kitchen
You know, honestly, why is this a problem? Just stare at them. Put on your best yandere lust stare and watch in silence. Probably a very decent way to handle 'sibling rivalry.'
>>
>>32651057
Because it would be really awkward and our MC is apparently not quite at the point of maturity where the concept of family members having sex drives is tolerable.
>>
"Maybe we could talk at your house?" I ask. "My sister had a guy over when I left this morning, and I'd like to maybe check to see if the book you read is the same as the one that Mina got."
"M... my house?" Theresa staggers back.

C'mon, don't faint again!

"S... sure," Theresa nods. "My Mom's still gonna be at work when we get there and our fridge is totally empty right now but if you really want..."
"Better than my place," I shrug.
"Alright then..."

And so, the two of us make our way to Theresa's house. It's a bit smaller than my place, but her mother really does a nice job taking care of the it so the difference in size doesn't seem all that important.

Not to say that my house is unkempt or anything, of course.

>[1/?]
>>
>>32651057
You obviously don't have siblings
>>
>>32651094
>Not to say that my house is unkempt or anything, of course.
Two teens, one of whom is a slut? It's gotta look like Hiroshima ca 1945 in there.
>>
>>32651080
Right, but staring at them and especially looking into his eyes, may help with that. You could even make really uncomfortable faces at him like you had to urinate or something. Really, they'll either stop having sex in the kitchen or appreciate you more. Those are the only two outcomes.
>>
>>32651116
Actually, sis might be in her twenties right? Not that it makes a big difference.
>>
>>32651127
It most likely makes things worse
>>
>>32651117
Anon pls
>>
>>32651117
>like you had to urinate or something
DARE YOU ENTER MY MAGICAL REALM?!
No Cecile no
>>
Is there any significance to our MC being named Sessile?
Are our powers going to center around not moving?
>>
>>32651144
>>32651159
Look, at least I didn't say jam four fingers into his prostate to force him to prematurely ejaculate, and then make him your bitch.

Cecile seems a little too delicate to pull that off yet. She probably doesn't even have lube, though may not be a problem.
>>
>>32651180
>Origin of the name Cecile:

>French feminine form of Cecil, which is derived from Caecilius, an old Roman family name, which has its root in the Latin caecus (blind, dim-sighted).
>>
>>32651200
Is there any fetish you DON'T like?
>>
>>32651200
Give it up anon.
>>
>>32651231
No, giving up is his fetish.
>>
>>32651248
Oh denial play.
>>
>>32651216
I may have a lot of experience GMing.
>After a while, you start to see things.

But on the upside:
>And there is only an upside.
You gain the Sense Fetish power which works on girls.
>And traps. At the same time.
>>
>>32651214

Explain further.
>>
>>32651260
i also happen to have a preference towards French names.
>>
>>32651260
From Old English furþor, from Proto-Germanic *furþera, from Proto-Indo-European *per- (a common preposition). *per- means to go forth, go forwards.
>>
>>32651269

my brother from another mother
>>
>>32651253
>>32651248

Technically that's probably a flavor of submissive, like petplay for servant obedience.

Like if you kneel with a straight back, palms up on your thighs, chin up eyes down to show willingness and surrender.

>>32651094
>[2/2]

"Here we are," Theresa says as she opens the door to her room. It's decorated with posters here and there, with a shelf filled with comics and another with figures... there's also what looks like some kind of sports trophy on her desk that has a jacket thrown over it, but I don't think I should really say anything about that.

"Umm, it's not much different from the last time you were here, huh," Theresa says, fidgeting.
"Yeah, it's mostly the same," I reply.

I haven't been here in what, two years?

>ask to see the book first
>tell her about branches and whatnots first

>>32651311

Definitely what she masturbates with.

Ask about the trophy. Maybe run your fingers slowly on it and comment on smooth shine.

>No? Alright, how about
You could always seriously recommend it. If you wanted. It's not like this isn't /tg/ or anything.
>>
>>32651406
Nah, we gotta take it a little slow. Explore the room, show interest in her, find out what her and Mina's deal is. THEN come the moves.
>>
>>32651414
Better involve fetishes. Do we know what her kinks are?

Do we know what our OWN fetishes are? I mean, we should know. Is it trophies? Oh that would be good. Baseball and basketball trophies. Maybe lacrosse.

And eye contact. Always a likely good one.
>>
>>32651330
Who the fuck masturbates with a trophy? Besides, it might be the kinda trophy entirely unsuited to it in the first place (like my high-school soccer trophies that are in the shape of soccer players).
>>
>>32651441
Relevant fetishes are scheduling dates, chaste kissing and hand-holding. Eye-gazing can be allowed.

Someone linked this thread to QTG didn't they.
>>
>>32651446
Well sometimes, while you're GMing, you ask girls what they masturbate with.
>Chess trophies.

And then sometimes you have a soda bottle and a bedpost in close proximity.
>Filthy.
>>
I -really- want to keep going, but my eyes are starting to burn and that's generally a sign that I need to get some sleep.
Today's thread was fun, and I was honestly pretty surprised by some of the choices that you guys have made so far but in a good way
I'll be running Princess Guard on Sunday night, and False Dendrite will return on Monday night.
I have some last-minute errands to take cafe of right now, so I'll be awake for maybe ten minutes. If you had any questions, now's the time to ask.

And thanks for playing!

Alright, thanks for running!
Your sessions are pretty lengthy anyway.
Of course, I miss most of them since you start early morning and run til early afternoon my time, but hey.
>>
>>32651473
>If you had any questions, now's the time to ask.
What are YOUR fetishes, so we can better get

You're never going to finish PGQ are you

A few threads ago you said you could have ended it there, might have been better if you just had
>>
>>32651473

Cheers.

Anything in particular you hope to do better/different than PGQ?
>>
>>32651488
The only allowed fetishes are the chaste/cute ones.
>>
>>32651493
You don't like it?
>Like it?
>>
>>32651499
like what?
>>
>>32651507
"It."
>>
>>32651497
Dude, you've got no idea what I can do with chaste/cute. I have Jane Austin.
>Have her.

You think you can handle the frills at the matchmaking?
>The Emma?!

You probably can't.
>Mindbreaking orgasms.
>>
>>32651513
PGQ?

No i love it
But it's taken us three months to get through three days, that doesn't really inspire confidence
>>
>>32651513
>>32651507
Princess Guard Quest.
>Actually not (much) of a lewd it this time.
>>
>>32651516
Look, all I'm saying is things better proceed with a lot of blushing and all clothes still in place.
>>
>>32651530

I like the current part of it, it's pretty chill right now.

>>32651473

Thanks for running arch, see you tomorrow.

>>32651530
Was it like "you encounter ten assassins", or like "the princess really wants moldavian makeup"?
>>
>>32651455
Dear god man, this is a blue board!
>>
>>32651572
Both, through shockingly enough Marianne was one of the person with whom we spent the least time during those three days.
>>
>>32651572
I don't understand the question
>>
>>32651554
>and all clothes still in place

You're fucking making it easy.
>Do you even bodice rip?

Because you don't even need to bodice rip.
>Sometimes girls really just like some nuzzling on a midsummer's night.
>>
>>32651577
I admit it anon, my sick, depraved mind thirsts for two chicks gently caressing each-others' hands.
>>
>>32651572
The princess's ten assassins really want moldavian make-up...and the princess has all the moldavian make-up in the country! Are you a bad enough dude to protect her make-up?
>>
>>32651488
>What are YOUR fetishes, so we can better get
I am going to keep that to myself.

>>32651493
Princess Guard is my baby, and I will see it to its proper end.
I've actually been trying to move up the pace since the story returned to Granache, as there are some parts that I really want to get to.

>>32651495
It'd be nice to avoid shitstorms this time around, but this is 4chan so I am not very confident about that.
There are some technical things that I'm doing different with this one (mechanics, perspective, etc) that should hopefully make this run a bit smoother.

>>32651598
unf
>>
>>32651612

And prom is tonight too!
>>
>>32651587
It's basically asking you if the difficulty relative to your progress was due to the princess being shit, or being shit on.
>You should get to some aristocratic courtly balls.

With some proper aristocrats.
>Oho ho ho.
>>
>>32651625
>I've actually been trying to move up the pace
Well shouldn't it be easy if you're guarding a princess embroiled in
>DRAMA!

>I am going to keep that to myself.
Running Sense Fetish.
>Mhm.
Disabled girls and quiet country walks through rolling hills and small white flower banks in the spring sun.
>No escape.
>>
>>32651625
>I've actually been trying to move up the pace since the story returned to Granache, as there are some parts that I really want to get to.

Not sure i believe you no offence but if it was any slower, it would be going backwards.
>>
>>32651625
>It'd be nice to avoid shitstorms this time around, but this is 4chan so I am not very confident about that.
While I'm sure they'll appear, hopefully they won't be very big or toxic.
>unf
You can say that again!
>>
>>32651666
>it would be going backwards.
Now Time Travel Guard Quest, in which you become the princess. Of Chronos's harem.
>You also like nurses, don't you?! And gentle hygiene products. I smell them.
>>
>>32651597
You know, while headpats are all the rage on /tg/ these days, cranial massages are sorely underrepresented. So chalk me up for a filthy head-massage fetishist. Especially if paired with lap-pillow. Maybe next time Theresa gets a synapse headache we can oblige...
>>
>>32651705
Do we get to do some ear cleaning too?!
>Opening ASMR fetish files.

Seems there might be some pebbles, fountains, and origami in Theresa's future.
>And rice grains slowly dropped on her clitoris.
>>
>>32651705
>>32651720
>Head-massage
>Lap pillow
>Ear cleaning
