I just flatly ignore him, clapping Mia on the shoulder, I tell her "C'mon let's get outta here." I spin on the spot, guiding her away quickly.

A hand claps on my shoulder though, "Were u goin mait" Christ they even can't talk like Chad, I'm tugged backwards violently, hurtling to the ground. The shithead's advancing on me now. Ah shit.

I roll into a ball, at the very least he can't kick my head. "No!" Mia yells, I hear a slapping sound.

"Holy FUCKIN SHIT!" The Chadling screams, before I hear pelting feet. I uncurl from the protection ball.

Mia stands, her sketchbook on the floor again. She's staring agape at the the ladybug demon, towering over her, staring hungrily at the retreating boy, fangs bared and flames gushing from the black spots of it's shell.

Well. That was unexpected.
