You decide that your time here has been wasted enough with this damn “catfight” and hat you don’t want to stick around this area a single second more.

After all, you do remember that you have a dragon after you and all. In a dash like a flash, you run past the kimono girl grabbing the collapsed scowling girl as if she’s a sack of potatoes. Throwing her over your shoulder, you make a beeline towards the portal.

The kimono girl seems surprised at this however you barely spare her a glance as you rush towards the portal. Luckily it seems that the kimono girl had not managed to chase though the portal after you.

With a now familiar sigh at your own misfortune you voice out
"What the hell did you think you were doing? Also why the hell was that girl trying to attack you? You do understand that you're my escort for the stupid quest right?"
The scowling girl simply "ignores you" as she simply folds her arms.

You begin the chain portal process back to the beginner town of Yarun. The trip is filled with annoyed silence as the scowling girl is busy ignoring everything you say whilst you are too busy both complaining and creating portals.

After a while of travelling though grasslands, you arrive at a dirt road which after following for a while, arrives at a crossroad with a signpost noting.

You decide that sometimes you can be kind... after all this is a game and there could be possible rewards for this kindness. Making an inwardly disgusting grin, you give your brightest smile to the beggar as you motion for the beggar to come follow you for a bit. The girl gives you a glance of mock surprise as you do your best to ignore her.

After setting up camp a short distance from the road, you give the beggar some bread and water as the whole small group sits around a small camp fire which had been made by Vol.
The beggar eats messily and ravenously with the food and within moments, you've lost more than a days supply of bread and water. You do your best to keep a smile on the whole time this is occurring as after a bit, the beggar finishes eating with a satisfied smile. You do your best to show that you're a "charitable" guy as you even give the beggar a bronze coin and smile along as the beggar rants about the cruelties of most travelers.

After a short while, the beggar thanks you with bows and touching of his head upon the grass as he states
"Thank you so much, I will never forget this debt" weeps the old beggar as he attempts to hug you and the girl.

Luckily you manage to avoid his hug however it seems the girl is not so lucky. You smile inwardly when the girl shows a sign of distaste on her face. Take that you damn hypocritical bitch a small part of your mind thinks whilst the slightly more intelligent part of your mind notes that you probably don't even know what the word hypocrisy means.

As the beggar finishes thanking you, you ask him if theres anything else he wishes to say, any small trinket rewards or gifts of knowledge or basically anything... however he states that he is a humble beggar with nothing but the clothes upon his back... fuck, did you just randomly lose a day's supply of food, drink and a fucking copper coin to an authentic beggar?

You do your best to not scowl as the beggar leaves your camp.

A pig like that will always be called a pig) lumbers forward attempting to swipe the letter out of your hand however it seems the pig needs a workout as you easily avoid his grasp. The pig grows red in his face as you smirk before suddenly a ball of lightning is gathered in the pig's hand... which is not thrown at you as he is promptly given a nice refreshing fireball to the face... which seems to do no damage yet irritate the pig even more.

You sigh at your misfortune of always being stuck meeting idiots as the receptionist hurries between you and the pig asking both of you to calm the fuck down and not ruin the place.

"Look, how about this as a way of proving if he's real or not Lord Baldwin. I'll get some specialists to check out the letter whilst we arrange a magical test of his capabilities. If he's Arch magister's Bob's apprentice than surely he can easily pass a magical test" calls out the receptionist in a rational yet slightly agitated voice.

Ahh... seems that it's unbelievable that sulky glasses bastard would deal with you due to your low level and stats it seems. You do your best to keep your temper as you very calmly give the half crushed letter in your hand to the receptionist. After a bit of reading, the receptionist confirms your story is repeated in the letter only to be met with laughter and cries of "liar" and "its fake". The receptionist sighs as he tells you that he'll send it to the specialists to check it's legitimacy however the pig simply states with a snarl that even if the letter IS real than that still doesn't prove anything.

Vol happily compliments your anger with a breath of fire which alights several mages robes as several other mages blast them with water soaking them completely though.

Well that was fucking disappointing. The girl appears to want to say something however when she notes your mood, she stays mute.

After a short walk though the crowd who seemed to happily get the fuck out of your way, you arrive once again in front of the map.
