While begrudging tolerance isn't what I'd call ideal, I still have enough sense to know that it's the best that I can hope for.

Before too long, we make it to the front of the hotel. The restaurant "Bertonelli's" was burnt to the ground last night, and another was turned into the site of a bloodbath early this morning... it's been all over the news. And since we haven't really gotten much in the area of leads since that one day in the park where a certain idiot picked a fight that he couldn't win, we're taking note of all suspicious events that happen in this city just in case they're Branch-related incidents.

"Wow..." I say as I peer past the police tape and into the building. "...so this is where all those people were killed?"
