The continued thumping sound of boots marching in line down a corridor echo all around you just before you enter past an open door. It slids shut behind you. Before you stand four other clones, all of them your brothers. Eights and Mute salute you while Ones nod at you solemnly. Joker flash a smirk at you. The room is white and there are no chairs. It seems to be more of a waiting room than anything. You return the salute to your more serious commandos before you move closer to the group.

"Welcome to the white room." Joker welcomes you, looking around the rooms walls and roof to signal his poor joke. You give him a small smile while the rest of your team remains untouched. At least Joker is trying to lighten up the mood, despite his own emotional or psychological problems. You can respect the effort.

"Which colour did you, sir?" Eights ask out aloud, directing his attention towards you and the rest of the team's gazes follows suit.

"I have. It's green." You reply in short. Mute and Eights nod at you, as if they approve your choice. Ones just looks away. He got the answer he was looking for. Joker's smirk doesn't falter. "Good choice." He comments just before the door behind you slide open. In comes five service droids, all carrying each a set of Katarn-class Commando armor. They hand them out to their designated owners and then disperse out through the door from where they came. Given how used you all are at equipping yourself at this point, you all find yourself in your newly painted armors quite quickly. The green color on your armor fits you nicely and as you scan the rest of your squad, you notice their colors sticking out as well.

Mute has a red color painted onto his; Ones has chosen Gold; Eights stand about with an orange color painted on several parts of his armor while Joker's armor is half black. For the first time an outsider can see the difference between all of you and to some who's more well versed in the Mandalorian ways can see far more than just that.

"We're all ready, sir." Eights reports, standing at ready in front of you. The others in Sierra Squad follow suit.

"Get to the hangar and get yourself aboard our gunship. ETA 2 minutes." You order them and the team moves out, all weapons equipped and loaded along with shields recharged, ammo and grenades added, and bacta injectors refilled. You were more than ready for the mission. Given how long you've been on this ship, it doesn't take long to find your way down to the hangar and once you're all strapped onboard the gunship, you feel the ship shake slightly as it exits hyperspace.

"Sierra 1, this is your Advisor for this mission. Is the mission objective clear?" A voice crackles to life in your comm-system.

"Search and retrieve Agent Itaka from the Separatist base, retrieve essential data from the core terminal, and destroy the facility upon exit." You recite the key points of what General Malcov had told you of your mission yesterday at the bridge.

"Good. I will provide any assistance you may need that is to your disposal. Good luck down there, Commandos." And with that, the gunship takes off and flies out from the Acclamator-class assault ship that's fighting a Separatist ship in the orbit of a strange farmland planet that is approximately covered in 80% water.

"Brothers." You spoke out, gaining the rest of Sierra Squads attention. They all looked to you, waiting for their commanders words. Would they be strict ones? Grave ones? A few words of discipline?

"We have been through two kinds of hell now and we conquered both; Geonosis and Atraken. Whether or not we survived horrible wounds, stood tall in the face of danger, or endured impossible odds, we have survived. We WILL survive this as well. Mark my words." And with a unified "Sir, yes, sir!" from your squad, the gunship's interior fell silent as it descended down upon the planet. In a few short moments, Sierra Squad jumped off the gunship that hovered just half a meter above the ground. With a great thump, the entire squad reclaimed their balance after the jump and then raised their weapons instantly incase an ambush awaited them at the LZ. The woods around them lay quiet and empty.

After the gunship takes off, all the eyes of Sierra Squad lands on you. With a swift motion, you direct Mute to get up in the nearest tree and scout about. With a second sign with your fingers and hand, you signal the rest of the squad to spread out and search the perimeter. You have to know if any enemy spotted your descent and if there are enemy forces heading your way, no matter from which direction. If this LZ is compromised, you have to come up with a new one with the Advisor. As Mute starts climbing the nearest tree, the squad scatters. It doesn't take long until you reach the nearby edge of the forest. From here you can spot the target destination where Agent Itaka's signal was last registered before it died. It's a large facility built into the mountain range that trails its way across the farmlands until it reaches the edge of the forest. There doesn't seem to be any enemies in the vicinity nor between the forest where you stand and the facility itself. Could be a mined trap though. If you continued along the forest line until you reached the mountain range, the team could move by it until you reach the facility.

It was a sound plan anyhow.

"Chief." You suddenly hear the voice of Ones through the comm.

"Status report, Ones." You press your chin down on the switch in your helmet, activating your manual comm.

"We have captured a local who was spying on us and jotting down notes on his datapad. He's wearing Federation working-class clothes. What should I do with him?"

"Tie him down and question him. I'm on my way. Over and out." You hail back to him before you throw one last glance at the field between you and the facility. It's still as empty as before, with no signs of any enemy forced heading your way. You turn about and jog back into the forest, your rifle at the ready just in case. You're on enemy soil right now, and you cannot be too careful. You follow the two dots on your HUD that belongs to Ones and Eights while Joker is off elsewhere and Mute is up in a different tree now.

"Sir." You hear Mute's voice over the comm when you're nearing Ones and Eights location. "Enemy forces. From the South. Four battle droid squads. Three SBD's." He reports with his usual neutral tone.

"Form up with Joker and make your way to us." You order him just as you jog around one last tree, finally arriving to the scene where a man in his early 20's is tied to a nearby tree with Ones and Eights standing nearby, talking with him.

"Understood. Mute out." You hear over the comm before it goes quiet again. You approach your squad members. There's little time for chitchat as enemy forces are incoming, so you have to ask the right questions and make the right decision. This man isn't a Separatist in name, but the Trade Federation is still known to favor the Separatists from what you've learned so far.

"He refuses to speak and keeps wailing on about how we're going to pay for this, Chief." Ones report upon seeing you approaching. Eights salute you and you return it before you face the man. With no real means to interrogating him but with pain, you're not sure if you can get anything out of him in such a short notice.

Stun mode, cause that will stop him from getting up and talking immediately after it wears off.

Enemy forces are incoming and with every second that pass by while you and your men remain here, you are a moment closer to being overrun. You could use the dense forest to your advantage, but taking out four squads and three SBD's at the same time will be hard and it will most certainly alarm the facility. Ones hand you the datapad belonging to the man tied to the tree. You're starting to look through it when you hear a familiar voice in the local vicinity.

"I see you're having fun without me." Joker chuckles when he sees the young Trade Federation worker tied to the tree. "You could have called me, Ones. I'm sure we could have forced some info out of him before Chief got here."

However, Joker is ignored by Ones, causing him to fall silent. Mute approach you on sight.

"Enemy forces. ETA 3 minutes." And you give him a slight nod, acknowledging him. From what you can read in the datapad, the young man has been gathering information about Agent Itaka prior to her capture and he even has inside info about your squad's operation here today. Someone has leaked information. You turn back to the captured man and approach him. Your armoured figure tower above him.

"Who gave you this information? Who have you been talking to?" You ask aloud, but the worker spits at your boots and looks away.

"ETA 2 minutes, sir." Mute reminds you. There's no time for games. You'll just have to keep the datapad, complete the mission despite the inevitable trap you're walking into, and then find out who sent this man the insider information. What should you do with him though? He still knows everything and who knows? Maybe he hasn't talked with the Separatists on this planet about your arrival and future activities? He's too much for a liability either way.

Your wrist-mounted blade reach out with a swift motion and without hesitation, you take a step forward, and aim the blade at his throat.

"P-please, I--" He's cut short by your cut. He gags on his blood for three seconds before he's confirmed dead.

"Form up on me, Sierra, and move out." You order your squad.

Without any questions or objections, the squad follows you dutifully through the dense forest, rushing past the countless trees surrounding you. By now the enemy forces must have reached the LZ and found the corpse you left behind. As far as you know, you must be closing in on the mountain range, but you won't know for sure until you're at the edge of the forest. The droids must have hailed the facility by now and it's most certainly on high alert. You will need to be extra careful when you get inside.

"Advisor, Sierra 1 here. Do you copy?" You hail the ship, or to be more precise, the clone assigned to your squad as its liaison.

"I copy you loud and clear, Sierra 1. What is your status?" The voice comes crackling through the comm system.

"LZ is compromised and we're heading towards the facility via the mountain range. It may be on high alert. Link the schematics for the facility to my HUD and please advise." After a few moments a small icon light up in the corner of your HUD, signaling the successful transfer of information to you.

"Done, Sierra 1. Your mission objective stands for now. Retrieve agent Itaka, collect the information, and then destroy the facility. Anything else?"

"We encountered a potential spy in our search of the perimeter. He was silenced."

"Excellent work, Sierra 1. High command will be pleased. Over and out."

And with that, your radio conversation ends just as you and your squad reach the edge of the forest where the trees almost meet the mountain nearby. From here on out you would hug the mountain as you make your way towards the facility. This way you will most certainly avoid the mines, however you will leave yourself open to discovery if any droids come out from the forest. It will have to be a necessary risk as this is the only way to the facility without having to walk around the mountain range and then climb close to the top and then climb down again. It would take too much time.

"What's the plan, Chief?" You hear Joker ask over the comm when the whole party starts trailing across the roots of the mountain.

"Get up on the second level of the facility, take the elevator down underground where agent Itaka's signal was last seen, download data, get up, plant bombs, get out." You repeat the basics of the mission in short.

"Didn't you listen when Malcov explained this and when Chief repeated it in the gunship on the way down?" Ones asks Joker with a tired and irritated voice.

"No, I was too busy doi--" Joker starts off, raising his voice slightly in anger, but you cut them both off.

"Cut the chatter. Stay frosty." You will have to deal with those two after the mission, but for now they have to focus.

Soon enough Sierra Squad arrives to the side of the facility and with the help of some grappling hooks from Eights, the entire team gets up on the second floor and into the facility.

Upon entry, the lights remain white so the building is not in high alert yet, but the droids inside must have been contacted by now. However, as you move through the facility, you don't encounter any droid resistance of any kind. Not even any traps or security measures. The feeling deep in your stomach starts to grow larger and for every second that passes without hostile contact, you start to think a trap is waiting for you and your squad around every corner. Despite that growing feeling of paranoia, you stay focused while you're still leading your team of deadly commandos.

The elevator is found with ease and there are no droids guarding it.

"This is trap, no doubt about it. What do we do?" Joker comments, looking about nervously. You're not sure what you can do. The schematics didn't mention any other way down than this shaft where the elevator is placed and you need to get underground to retrieve the agent and the data.

"We're going to walk straight into it." You reply, opening the elevator door. Without hesitation, everyone but Joker runs in. He stands outside for a second longer before he joins his brothers inside the metallic box. The doors slide shut and it starts to move down towards the underground levels. There's an uneasy feeling in the air between the squad members, but they're more than ready to do their duty and complete the mission, no matter the cost. Finally, the elevator reach its destination and the doors slide open.

You roll in an active Ion grenade just as the doors open up, but there are no droids there to recieve the small electric explosion. There is just a long corridor leading towards a room at the end of it. This doesn't match the schematics you recieved from Advisor.

"Advisor, do you copy?" You try to hail him, but you're met with silence. This must be a dead zone or something is scrambling your comm system. With a quick motion, you signal your team to form up on you and move towards the door, weapons at the ready. When you reach the door, it opens at your presence and the sight before you is jarring; a Rodian female is stuck to a chair, her every finger cut open from the top down to her knuckles, and bruises covering her entire face along with dried blood marks from her shaven head down to her neck. She looks up at you wearily and for a couple of seconds she's not sure what she's looking at. When she eventually figures out who you are, panic fills her eyes and she tries to speak with you, but she can't get a sound out.

>Send ___ (who?) up to check on her while the rest of the squad covers the corridor in case this really is a trap.
>Order your team to cover your back while you check up on Agent Itaka.
>"Agent Itaka, are you alright?" Ask her from afar while you check your back with your squad.

Stay in the hallway, further examine the room, in addition check the corridor behind us top to bottom, be ready for a trap.

Additionally, can anyone do some general scans for explosives? I dont want this p;lace to be rigged to explode.

If its a sith its an extraordinarily weak one, skin flaying and rough beat downs aren't normal sith Method of Operation, they tend to go for the more subtle mind fucking, electrocuting, and forcing you to do morally reprehensible shit regardless of what you actually intend to do.

This doesn't discard the fact that it MIGHT be a wannabe sith.
>>
>>39713057
By extension, a sith wouldn't care to trap us like this, they'd rather just have us killed because, lets face it, clones are boring to torture, they self terminate, escape, or murder everyone they can at the earliest convenience, get given a bare minimum of intel, and have been mentally hardened against torture because it goes against the "never betray your brothers"

"Agent Itaka?" You ask aloud, standing at the entrance of the room. She nods at you with panic still frozen across her features and in her eyes. You can't spot any explosives nearby and neither can Ones. "Shake your head if we can't approach you. Nod if we can." You order her gently and she shakes her head at you, still in pure panic. There must be a reason why she's so worked up and why you can't go to her.

"Alright, agent Itaka. Nod your head if you have a bomb attached to you. Shake it if there is another reason we cannot approach you." You continue with the instructions. However, just as she is about to nod she explodes in a sea of blood and body pieces. She imploded from the inside, possibly from a bomb placed inside of her. Your entire armour is covered in blood and a piece of meat lands on your shoulder that slides down your chest piece until it lands on the floor. The entire squad is stunned for a couple of seconds, just looking at the scene before them. The entire room is almost painted with the dead Rodians blood. You can hear Joker and Eights both breathing harder and faster for each second that passes in silence at this scene before them.

Before you can say or do anything, Mute moves past you, into the room. You're about to object, but he kneels down close to the chair and picks up a datapad and holds it up at you and the rest of the team.

"Agent Itaka. Completed her mission." He states, handing it over to you once he reach you. From behind you hear questions from Joker and Eights, but you ignore them for now as the datapad holds your attention. You read through her last entry that details an upcoming attack against the military hospital space station of Hanka in the mid rim. You need to get this data to command!

That's it for tonight, guys and gals! I got an appointment tomorrow, however, I'll run again tomorrow as well and this time for a longer period!

Thanks for playing and for the support!

Yeah I believe so

We should also compare the two data pads with each other just incase.

Also how do we smoke out a spy?
>>
>>39713568

By smoking him.

Inb4 it was Eights all along
>>
>>39713568
This is why we have planned to assassinate every person we've come across, my personal bet is its the jedi.

I have to agree, Chief isn't Batman.

Besides, Chief is good enough to fight at least Padawan level jedi in melee by himself and win, as well as people who were armed and trained specifically to beat jedi, so he's a powerhouse in melee, and damned fine at range, too.

Plus Chief will pull all the tricks to win, he gives no fucks about fighting "fair" and I love it.
>>
>>39713657
No, you do NOT fight a melee battle against a force user and live. Jedi of any form are extraordinarily nasty in melee and by being in melee you block vital firing lanes that could be used to frag the jedi.
>>
>>39713657
War is the application of measured force to achieve an objective , typically via combat. Fighting "fair" is hamstringing yourself and your allies. Victory is the objective, all else is secondary.

>>39713685
We beat Yna in melee, so we may be able to do it. But yes Shoot the fucks first if possible.
>>
>>39713707
Fire is also very effective on jedi, its impossible to block with a lightsabre and its extremely hard to focus and channel your inner serenity when your skins melting off.
>>
>>39713685
In pretty sure you can if you're Gud enough and have some of that material that can survive the light saber

And by Gud I mean having actual experience against a force user even if it amounts to you getting your butt cheeks roughed up
>>
>>39713657

Neither do his enemies, apparently. I agree that Batmanning js impossible in a quest like this, but we do need to think more before we act. Like getting into that elevator, for example, wax retarded. Would climbing down the elevator shaft have been a waste of time? Yeah, but it would still be worth it. I was half expecting for it to blow up and instakill half the team.
>>
>>39713685
Firstly, I never said "Hurr durr, run into melee", secondly, Boba Fett (I think it was Boba, I can never remember) fought against jedi and killed them in melee occasionally. Plus he had a lightsaber, which is pretty cool.

It is entirely possible to fight jedi in melee and win, and it's more common than you might think, especially further back in the timeline.
>>
>>39713568
Check the data and find out if its been altered.
Smoking out the spy is going to be the harder part
>>
>>39713728
Same thing with chemical weapons, flood, rock falls, massed artillery fire, or grenade spam.
>>
>>39713728

This is true. Why do we not have mini wrist flamethrowers?
>>
>>39713756
Because fire is significantly less effective on droids, which are our primary enemies.
>>
>>39713756
I think you should be asking Command why we don't have electric throwers
>>
>>39713733
You should have voiced your concern earlier, then.

A lot of the time things don't occur to people, or they just forget to do a write-in. And yes, the elevator smelled fishy, but the whole thing did, I half expected the entire facility to be rigged to explode.

Healthy shadowrunning is healthy, but in our off time we shouldn't be saying "Yes, if I poisoned his water supply on these days before this time I could kill him easily in case this date proves to be something suspicious", that's just too far, ya know?
>>
>>39713780
Hey dude, I only make assassination plots, I don't vote to actually begin doing them. Its only the idle mental exercise of "if x person was secretly a cis spy, how would I execute them).
>>
>>39713766
And jedi can in fact block fire with the force, at least I never have seen it said they cant, and I imagine making a solid sheet or dome to block the fire wouldn't be THAT hard. And jedi are mildly resistant to poisons if they notice it beforehand, especially airborne ones that need to be inhaled, jedi can hold their breath for a staggeringly long time compared to most things.

Mainly, the best way to beat jedi and sith is through surprise, because the force is one hell of an equalizer.
>>
>>39713778

Lightsabers block electricity.

Acid spray, hidden dart launchers, boot knives and so on are the best anti-jedi weapons. Shit you can fire off at a moment's notice without any prep. As soon as you plan, force-sensitives can predict it.

This is why I think Jango and Boba fared so well against Jedi- they had many tricks up their sleeves tbat relied less on shadowruns and more on instinct.
>>
>>39713902
...I meant for droids...
>>
>>39713932

Blasters work just as fine against droids and we have ion grenades, you inbred fuckwad.

Don't be an ass.

It's perfectly feasible that jedi can just make a wall with the force. And canonically I think it is stated that jedi can hold their breath for a rather long time thanks to the force.

You know, it seems like people are taking what I say and blowing it out of proportion.

I'm not saying Jedi can stop breathing for an -extended- period of time, only for what would count as a long time for us.

They can hold their breath for minutes at a time, whereas most people struggle with a single minute without practice.

And 6 or so minutes is a long fucking time to do things, actually, especially when most traps the involve poison gas and such are circumvented by lightsabers or the force. Trapped in a room doesn't do much when they can cut through the doors/ceiling/floor/wall.
