Taking advantage of Charlotte's expensive bath products, I take a nice long shower and wash away every last bit of dirt and grime and sweat that accumulated during yesterday's fighting and... other things. When I finally step put of the shower, I'm absolutely squeaky clean and the scent of the bodywash I used has pretty much soaked into me.

Normally, I'd change into something extra nice like the dress that Charlotte made me to commemorate my Super Clean status... but I'm going to be having lunch with Irene in a bit and it doesn't really seem right to wear that to go and see a girl who Charlotte pretty much hates.

And so, I reluctantly change back into the clothes that I wore here, brush my hair, and step out of the bathroom.

Just as I make it into the hallway, Charlotte steps out of her bedroom. I guess she got dressed while I was in the shower.

"Great," I say, "I wanted to say goodbye to you before I left."
"...you're leaving -right now-?" Charlotte asks, pouting.
"Yeah," I reply. "I need to head home and get changed into some actual clean clothes before I go."

And if I stay here, she'll probably try to convince me to ditch Irene entirely.

"I guess it can't be helped, then..." Charlotte sighs. "Take care, alright? And call after you're done with that Tree woman."
"Charlotte, PLEASE," I groan.

To try and alleviate some of Charlotte's jealousy, I walk towards her and plant one right on her lips. As I draw back, I'm pleased to find that her face has just turned a satisfying shade of red.

"Like I said last night, you don't have anything to be jealous about."
