Going up the stairs, I head straight for my room and shut the door behind me. My first order of business is to get out of these filthy clothes and change, and I do so immediately...

"Aw man, I'm so sorry..." I say as I stop in the middle of disrobing and hurry to my windowsill to check on my plants. "How have you guys been doing?"

Kneeling down so that my windowsill is eyelevel, I get a good look at my plants. The soil in all but the cactus's pot is moist like it's just been watered, and they all seem nice and healthy... I guess I really owe Allison for taking care of these guys when I'm not around.

Especially my cactus, I have no idea what I'd do if something happened to it.

I think it was just something Arch wrote on to be part of her character and now everyone is mentioning it all the time. If I had to guess I'd suspect there could eventually be a Poison Ivy type branch that shows up and does something with them.

Considering that plants can last about a week or two without water I'd imagine the only way they could really die is if CC had to take a long trip somewhere and it could just symbolize how far from the start she's come.

I have dinner plans, I have plans for tonight... as such, what I'll be doing for pretty much the rest of the day has already been decided.

Remembering about the stuff that Theresa mentioned earlier, I pick up my phone.

And then I freeze.

My phonecall was what woke Theresa up earlier, and then she acted all flirty and even ended the call with "I love you."
