Besides the absence of Sasuke, things in the Leaf remain more or less the same. The Uchiha are notably less friendly than before, but they seem to have decided on a collective effort to not disturb the workings of the village too much. Though you can only wonder what some of them think about the situation.

As the Hokage, Itachi doesn't seem to differ all that much from Jiraiya. The workings of the village change little, as Itachi continues to focus on the international relations work that Jiraiya started in his tenure.

Having made great strides in his training, Konohamaru graduates early from the academy and even makes Chunin at an impressive ten years old, teaming up with Kiba and Shino, who also managed to finally get promoted.

Most of your missions stay unremarkable, whether they be as a team under Kakashi Sensei, or leading Kiba alone. Lee however, makes sure to find you and Kiba to boast of how his team has now also fought one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist and won while on a mission.

About a year passes this way since Sasuke's departure. During that time, you focused mainly on...

Radar Ping: By pulsing impact chakra into a surface we feel its echos
and can use it to locate foes in contact with said surface

Submission Bomb: SOmehow pack chakra into something that when thrown
can be activated to create a powerful downward burst of chakra which
effectily pins the target to the ground for a brief time.

Claymore Shield: Carry loads of little ball bearing with us so when we
activate an outward blast from ourselves to brings them with it effectivly
making a claymore.

Impact Cannon: We launch ourselves with a huge blast of chakra at our foes

Nullify: Similar to feedback but rather than repel it simply equals the
force against us, this makes physical attacks useless as we cant to hit
with blades to cut or blunt to traumor. This effectivly mean we get punched
,we dont feel it but will still be vunrable to ninjutsu.

During the year, you train with Kakashi Sensei often in your spare time. You mainly focus on your endurance, and projecting your chakra for longer at a time. By doing this, the duration that you can use your techniques increases by a significant amount.

Kiba also trains under Kakashi, and at his insistence, learns some Earth Release jutsu to supplement his repertoire. Together, the two of you push yourselves, not wanting to be left behind by Sasuke.

You also spend time with Tenten, who helps you learn how to seal your Impact chakra into tags, to use to stun the victim with one of your concussive blasts. They are a bit intensive to make, but you make sure to carry a few of them from that point on.

At Konohamaru's insistence, you also train summoning until you finally manage to summon Enma once. The effort leaves you exhausted, but the monkey king is impressed nonetheless.

"So you two seem intent on calling upon me, do you?" Enma muses. "Is this going to be a regular thing, or was this just to test your limits?"
