You get back to were you had lunch when Ruby stops the horse and gets off. She ties the horse to a tree and hides int he bushes, notching an arrow. Following her lead and hide yourself. After about twenty minutes you hear a snort and sniffing coming from the trees behind you. "I know your hiding Janice, I can smell you. I can smell you on your ladyfriend as well." Turning around, you see the lumbering form an Ta'Kal exiting the trees. You must say it's quite impressive. A sward bigger then you are is strapped to his back and light glints off his armor and helmet... which has horns on it. Other then that bit of ridiculousness the sight of an armored and arm Minotaur is intimidating. "I'm not surprised you saw me. Your friend looked to be quite a woodswoman." Getting a closer look, the symbol of a hand holding a lightning bolt and a sword adorn the chest of Ta'Kal's armor.

Unfortunately, it seems his groin is as well armored as the rest of him. However, not staring at his groin is probably a good thing. You greet him and ask why he's been following you. Ta'Kal coughs. You can't tell under the fur, but you think Ta'Kal is blushing. "I... well I can;t get Tabby out of my head. I've been thinking about what you and her have told me, and I understand if she does not wish to return my feelings, but I... Well I want to make sure she stays safe. She is strong, but there are plenty of things that are stronger. Which is somewhat difficult, as my god teaches that we need to be free and build our strength."

You have to ask him, if he's a Paladin, why didn't he kill Grue in self defense? Ta'Kal seems surprised. "Well that's easy. Grue isn't evil. I don't think he has an evil hair on his body." Well alright then... but his god probably wouldn't appreciate the sneaking about. A flash of lightning and another roll of thunder. Ta'Kal looks up into the sky. "ALRIGHT ALREADY! I understand! You can stop with the theatrics." He looks back to you. "Well... To be COMPLETELY honest, I was hoping you would run into more bandits and I could be a big damn hero, but you're more then competent enough to deal with highwaymen. I haven't really thought about what to do next."

You sigh and roll your shoulders in an overly dramatic fashion. You gesture for the Minotaur to follow you and you and Ruby mount the horse. "Why... thank you, But I don't see how I can help with your act. I can't do much other then fight. I can't even preach that well." As long as you don't push the horse into a full gallop Ta'Kal seems to be able to keep up. As you go, you mention Grue's eye and explain the situation to him. He thinks for a moment and nods. "I think I should be able to do that. I've never really healed more then battlefield injuries, but I think I can do that."
You approach the wagons and you see everyone geared up for a fight.
