Once upon a time there lives a fleet of Thunderhawks. They all went on missions together with Mother Battlebarge, but one of them was not like the others. He was smaller and weaker than the other Thunderhawks. He lacked the battle cannon the others carried so proudly and onlt had a fraction of the carrying capacity. The machine spirits of the other Thunderhawks taunted it constantly >You look horrible they said >You can hardly even enter from orbit The ugly Thunderhawk felt miserable and wished it could've been like the others, but the friendly Techpriest comforted it. >One day you will be so much more than the others. Trust me.
Time went by and the other Thunderhawks got new rules from Forgeworld and with joy they entered Apocalypse scale games. But one started to wonder, what ever happened to the ugly Thunderhawk?
Well it turns out he wasn't a Thunderhawk at all, but a Stormraven and now he had grown and gotten official GW rules for normal sized games, not just Apocalypse. The Thunderhawks that had taunted him watched in envy as he blazed across small tables, hunting down targets and carrying horrible overpowered special characters, while they were stuck as target practice for Titan Killers.
