    Okay, someone help me finish this Power Rangers set.

    Should Tommy have any other abilities?

    Should the Dragonzord stay a morph ability or should it be an ability specifically for the flute?

    Any ideas for the other rangers?

    First, the type should be "Power-Ranger" as "Power Ranger" gives them two creature types, "Power" and "Ranger."

    Also, on the OP's theme with Tommy's morph ability, I would propose that fetches the Dragon Flute, which can fetch the Dragon Zord. The Dragon Zord, if the flute is not controlled by the same player that controls the zord, attacks a random player every turn it can attack.

    Not really a fan of the flip mechanic for this. The Morph mechanic fits because it creates a natural standard of what a normal 'teen' is and then ascending them upward with the morph, creating something unique. Sure you could say that the normal version of the characters are just as important...

    But this is a combat oriented game, not WoD the card game.

    No, these are combinations, or "gattai"s if you prefer. All of them require you to sacrifice two cards.

    Pokemon evolution just plays one card on another single card. There is no combiner evolution in pokemon that I am aware of (though I suppose they may have added that for Magnetite->Magneton and/or Digglet->Dugtrio).

    IIRC, the flute turns the heater up to 11, but it still works without it. Basically, Tommy could play and be more or less invincible, but only WHILE playing, which is a pretty specialized usage. And that's protection, not healing anyway, the healing is always on.

    If you wanted to simulate that mechanic, it would be more like "when Tommy is targeted by an effect that would destroy him, pay 2 green to just tap him instead" (since he can't do anything else while playing.

    I wouldn't bother though, the "play music, be invincible" trick was only used like once or twice.

    If you make a card for each ranger, and each ranger's weapon, then you should make a REALLY powerful effect for their combined blaster thing.

    Then you also had Tommy fighting his Green, White and Red alter-ego's in one of the newer series.

    I think having the cards be effected by the legendary rule as normal be fair, not making it so Future or Past versions of the characters can't meet up and fight, or team attack.

    +1: Put a black 1/1 Putty creature token onto the battlefield.
    -3: You may put a Monster creature card with converted mana cost 4 or less from your hand onto the battlefield.
    -7: Flip any number of target creatures you control.

    Starting loyalty - 3
    +1: Search your library for a Ranger card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library afterward.
