!mEHBggOj6w 01/14/11(Fri)09:02 No.13517355>>13512139 Not only that, but the main theme of Moongate: MG-Shogoki (good campaign name?) is the ascension of the Lilim as an Angel in our own, collective right. We won the Angelic war, we've proven ourselves the dominant species worthy of the Earth. Now's the time to go out and show our kin what we can do. Besides, I'm of the opinion that Eva is, in the end, about hope; hell, I think it's as 'FUCK YEARGH!' as TTGL, expect it makes its point in a more roundabout way. The series showed us how being so tied up in yourself, so tied up in the Hedgehog's Dilemma, could cause catastrophe, and the new movies (Rebuild 2.0 in HOLY SHIT FUCKING YEAH particular) show us just what the original cast could be if they just got rid of their 'me, me, me'complexes. Sure, Shinji still loathes his father, Rei's still a quiet inhuman shell, and Asuka's an overconfident bitch on the surface. But for all that, they're otherwise normal people, and when circumstances change, so do they.
And that's the feeling I want to try evoke with MG-Shogoki. That said, if the players turn it into a Lovecraftian hellhole, who am I to stop them? |
