Just walk in to the local healer's place and lay her on an empty bed. THEN you can tell them she needs help.
After that stay by her side. Nobody would dare attack you while you're standing vigil in a healer's place, and once Silver is healed she'll keep them away.

Oh, and when she wakes up keep your story straight: You were knocked off the cliff, your box was broken, and she was hurt pretty bad. You didn't see the others, but she needed a healer so you couldn't spend time searching for them. You borrowed her armor to hold you till you could get a new box, and brought her back to town.

It's pretty important to have allies, you know. I know demons are always saying blah blah blah demons shouldn't have friends blah blah blah going against tradition blah blah, but that's a bunch of horseshit. Other demons say things like that so others will isolate themselves and be vulnerable prey.

If the box has wheels can you control them directly? Even if not a box with wheels is a good idea, do that and a light crossbow. Start simple and then build on it. Thicker box, get better weapons and get better at them.
