JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU'D SEEN EVERYTHING

In other news, I wrote a tutorial on streaming movies on the SHOUTcast. It's a fairly involved process and requires a lot of ripping, encoding and transcoding, so I figured a general tutorial will help people get most of the way there. It would be nice if it were easier, but this is as easy as it will ever get.

I was doing some random DNSing and was surprised to find out that most of this site really is being hosted off your comcrap net, I just assumed it was all hosted off the xen box. BTW, as far as watching a stream you are already uploading without wasting bandwidth, you should just be able to use localhost/127.0.0.1/whatever the local IP is (just something I am assuming, haven't tried it myself).
